Arash & Quasar - Truth and Star - it’s electronic duo from Russia, two friends, DJs, collectors of rare vinyl records, musicians and painters.

The guys collaborate with labels as Hard Fist, Fauve Records, and Whypeopledance

Arash & Quasar also film interesting programs from their travels and tours called DIG LOTO, where the main characters go searching for rare old records with their best friend Vestax Handy Trax, and share musical treasures with people on their YouTube channel.

“Arash & Quasar was born out of pure pleasure, juggling pieces of different sounds. Basically, we take interesting records with oriental old forgotten music, find some really catchy elements and feel that something new and beautiful can come out of it if we put our own arrangements, synthesizers and drum machines on it. Perhaps this can be compared with how to make a collage of different clippings from a magazine. Only instead of pictures it's sounds.

Extravaganza 011 w/ Kinetta invites Arash & Quasar

We've been looking forward to welcoming Jonas to the series for a while now, so without further ado... Jonas Grew up in Mažeikiai, an industrial town in Lithuania, famous for its oil industry, which apparently is a very proper soil for electronic music, he quickly started showcasing his personal selections in various festivals and venues all over Lithuania.

Step by step, Calli consolidated himself as a key performer in the Lithuanian techno scene - Continuing his musical pilgrimage by playing in many clubs and festivals around his home country, he matured and gained further experience, until he was confident enough to start his own production. His talent was quickly noticed by Mantas T., the founder of a Lithuanian net-label Partyzanai, and in 2011 Jonas proudly presented his first EP ‘Acid from Nowhere’, which quickly gained recognition in the techno audience.

Later on the producer’s new love, Dark Disco-inspired spacious sound, started to beg for a new artistic alias. John Patter was born and the alter ego was a good enough reason to invest on new studio equipment and broaden his abilities of production. Launched with remixes for ba., a Lithuanian post-punk prodigy, and Latvian producers Esoniq & Negorod, he soon began laying some serious studio work and came up with his debut EP „Space Race“ in 2015, released in Ninefont.

After several releases on Argentinean’s label, John continues on his sound journey and thus a new release is born on the Spanish label Shara Music called “Noche Santos”. Before this EP, Jonas did a great remix for Tkuz track “Electrico” which was released on the same label.

During the successful his own managed Darkroom event series in one of the best Lithuanian night club Kablys, he met many great artists from abroad and his sound was moved forward as well. The inspiration leaded him to new dimensions of EBM and mixtures of Dark Disco with Broken Beats. Then, in 2019 a new release was born on Esthetique’s sub label MOIL called “Trois Larmes”. Later, Jonas continued his musical journey with inspiring new tracks, which were released on Rotten City Files and Melomana Records.

Amatteuur is another name for Fabiano Fonseca, an electronic musician from Brazil. Amatteuur´s first appear as the audiovisual performance “Robot Thoughts'' (2015), than “Somesthesia” on Nein Records and more on his own label Threshold (TRSHLD). He is also part of the duo "Ligalingha". Amatteuur lives and works peacefully at his home-school-studio in Turin/IT.

I make weird music for weird people. I tried to copy what I hear in the work of others but I always end up with different music solutions. I thought that was wrong way till I started focusing to the timbre and it helped me to burst out. I spend ages with the analog synthesizers looking for that right tone color and little by little the music structure came up on its own. Later I added guitar sound and different solutions of percussion who led me to minimize a digital sound from my work eventually. My strange and odd voice component came last. I had certain phrase in my mind who completed melody perfectly. So I started using my voice to get the right tone color more often, even I said that I will never be a singer in the past.
I am more of a night person, usually then I find a peace in my mind which is a must for music making.

Eyjafjöll is an indie electronic music live performance with techno,
house, acid influences, but also cold wave and new wave ones.
Dark, mystic, dancing, sometimes weirdo, Eyjafjöll's music is
letting room for meditation, dreams and psychedelic trips. This
french producer from Rennes has been signed ultimately with
three EP's on the fantastic NEIN Records label runned by Neil
Parnell aka Tronik Youth. Last one was called The Expansion
Force of the Seed and you should have a listen on it. He's doing
great job as a remixer also for atists like East Cho, Visionnaire or
White Magik. New material is on its way for the end of 2022 and
next 2023 year. As dj, Eyjafjöll likes to mix Indie Electronic Dance
Music, Techno, Dark Disco, Breaks and fun things. You will enjoy

Aurimas Vilkisius is a media composer, producer and DJ, whose solo project Wolg is mainly inspired by world and cinematic music, which are blended with a variety of modern dance music genres. As a DJ Wolg does not shy away from mixing different styles, so his mixes are usually very colorful. This one also has two sides, starting with a bunch of tracks full of groove, later going a bit more aggressive and darker, reaching the edge of pure techno in the end.

Jamie Paton releases music on [Emotional] Especial, Multi Culti, ESP Institute and Hoga Nord, having previously released on DFA, Dissident and Internajsonal as one half of Cage & Aviary.

He released the 'Bizarre Feeling' EP on Emotional Especial in late 2013. People liked it a lot; DJs played it, Tom Ravenscroft featured it on BBC 6 Music, DJ Magazine gave it single of the month. Someone paid €50 for a copy of it on white label.

He can be found playing all over, from London to Lithuania via LA, squeezing every ounce from the leftfield end of the dancefloor.
