Late share from my set at at Jazz Club a few months back at Levenslang in Amsterdam. The recording started a little more than halfway into the set, energy was already UP and people was grooving. Dance floor energy was sooooo good, shoutout to those of you who were there <3
Had the pleasure of having David Westcombe at my side jamming on the flute throughout the set and am so hyped we were able to grab that audio too. This was definitely one of my favorite sets of the Jazz Club 24’ season, hope it gets your weekend moving off to a good start.

The theme centers around sleep or the haunting absence of it.
Each track captures the haze of exhaustion, the ebb and flow of hallucinations, and the desperate craving for rest that never comes.
It's an intimate journey through the mind's twilight, where the line between dream and waking life dissolves into an otherworldly soundscapes.

In Hour 2 it's Jesse Futerman, the Canadian producer who started making music when he was 16. He recently finished recording his EP for the Sounds Of Beaubien Ouest (SOBO) imprint , where he worked with musicians, sampling their playing and assembling their sounds alongside other varying samples. Project Pablo assisted in the mixdown and the 'Waterzone' EP is released next week. He told us;
"This mix is a collection of what heavily inspired my EP. Many of these songs have been favorites since I have been a teenager and continue to touch and inspire me as time clicks on. While some may find it strange that there is no house music, most of my reference points for house oddly lie in jazz, as that is what I mainly listen to at home. Hopefully, these songs will give you the same peace and reflection that they have given me. I hope you enjoy."
