Rocky Blanco: born in the Bronx burrough of NYC, NY in 1975, grew up thru the beginnings of Hip Hop, and was influenced by the culture from a young age, in 1982 came to live in Ft Wayne Indiana, I started out Breakdancing and Beatboxing, in 1989 I started freestyling and was invited to flow at basements and house parties in the early 90's started getting into writing about the life i was living and what was going on around me it wasn't till 1996 I recorded my first verse on my homeboys 4 track and it's just been on since then I started battling around 1998 winning quite a few of my first battles and till this day only lost few in the end of 98 I was incarcerated for 18 months in 2000 when I came home I fully joined the group Unseen Handz we were 1 of the most conscious underground crew from our area we opened for Scarface and Ghetto Boys, and Tela by 2002 we split up and thats when I started my Solo cd's in 2004 I dropped a single called War of Art which followed up on the cd Been Writin and I performed at an outkast meet and greet 2005 I dropped the Sitting back LP in 2006 I put out Neva 2 Late and my crew Dysfunkshunol Family Dropped Resivoir Dawgz in 2007 i put out Rhyme Animal which featured a track called Mind Xscape which I collabed with Grammy Award recipient Cee Know The DoodleBug of Digable Planets in 2008 i put out the first Get Back or Get Smack'd mixtape vol 1 and in 2009 I dropped vol 2 in 2010 I opened for Killah Priest and Canibus and now in 2011 I am working on a new cd and just recently opened for Talib Kweli in Millwaukee Wisconsin and looking foward 2 what the future brings my way.
