Here at The Lounge we're proud to work with UCSU (University of Cumbria Student's Union) on launching a new student night. Every Monday from September 17th we're going to be changing the face of Lancaster Nightlife with a night that promises to do something different. Student nights in Lancaster are getting tired and many bars and clubs are just hoping that doing cheap drinks is enough to entice students into their bar. We know better!

Each week we're going to be offering events that you love and giving you the best possible night out! Not only that we're going to be giving you some exclusive deals and amazing drinks!

Questions

I'm a student but not at UCUM, can i still come down?
- Of course! Just bring Student ID and some proof of age. However on busy nights we will have to prioritise our UCUM students!

What kind of music are you playing?
-As part of our mission to do something different we're hoping to mix up the music a little bit. We've got two floors with two different music policies. Downstairs we're going to be focusing on Indie and Alternative and Upstairs we're going to be focusing on Chart and RnB. So whatever your into its bound to get played at some point!

What kind of events are you putting on?
- There are going to be some you've seen before and some you haven't. The ones you've seen before are tried and tested classics that we know your going to love. We're being a bit cryptic about it all but we don't want someone stealing our ideas!

What time are you open?
- Doors open at 8pm for a quiet cocktail or two before the storm! We'll be opening upstairs around 11pm/12am to get the party started! We'll also be going until 4am so we hope you don't have any Tuesday Morning lectures!

What are the drinks offers?
- We're going to be doing some exclusive drinks offers and we'll be posting more information about that soon! I can tell you that we're brewing up a special cocktail menu just for Mondays that's going to be really exciting!

Are you going to be doing anything special for clubs/societies?
- Of course! We've got a strong background in supporting clubs and societies and we look to build on this further. If you're planning a big night out let us know and we can do a whole number of things to make your night extra special!
