Growing up, I don’t think I realized just how much my mom did to keep our day-to-day life running so smoothly. Now that I’m grown up, I am in awe of everything she did and continues to do for us. Mothers are such a blessing in our lives, and today I want to take a moment to share and thank my mum for some lessons she has taught me, hoping that you can pick a thing or two from them.

This week's episode is a bit of a life update and we will mainly be addressing how I got COVID-19 during the thick of brack history month and the exam season for my final year at university. I also Adress some of the platform changes that you may have seen and were curious about.

I Owe You An Explanation

In today's episode, we want to address some allegations of the human rights crises in Zimbabwe. On the 31st of July 2020, a protest was staged, and the military and the police allegedly arrested and beat activists, journalists and several people for the opposition party. Zimbabwe is a beautiful country filled with hard-working, intelligent people. It is not only beautiful in its human capital but nature and natural resources. The government has been through a lot. It is sometimes easier to play the blame game. Still, for actual change to happen, the #ZIMBABWEANLIVESMATTER needs to stop being just a slogan and become a movement for change. 

My condolences to all those who have lost loved ones, and I pray that those injured will heal and live another day.

As many of you already know, this is the last quarter of the year, and if you do any sport, you know that the final quarter is the one that creates the championship. In this week's episode, we talk about practical tips that I have used to set and attain goals, even in the pandemic. This year can still be your year; you still have time to achieve the things you wanted to at the beginning of the year, make sure you have a plan. Set actual goals and write them down somewhere. Make sure these goals are attainable and time-bound. Set a plan of action and pivot if you hit a roadblock.

Navigating My Final School Year During Covid 19

Zita Renyu is a Shona Hymn that I can remember singing from a very young age and it always brings back so many memories for me. For my first Wednesday Worship segment, I wanted to just take a moment to appreciate God for being the most constant thing in my life. Even considering that we are coming to the end of 2018 and I am alive and well is a gift not a lot of people have, I can't take that for granted. Hope you enjoy it.

2017 was one of the toughest years to date for me and I was forced to grow and mature in a way I didn't even think was possible. 2018 taught me that all those things that I went through were NECESSARY.
