As we begin to recover from the Covid pandemic, millions across our country are grieving the death of loved ones. Our experience of bereavement is affected by many things - whether our loved one died isolated in a living facility or at home in the care of family, whether our relationships were troubled or loving, or if we have other losses in the present or arising again out of the past. The truth is that in every circumstance, grief is both painful and an opportunity. As we grieve, we can work through old and present losses, deal with regrets and remorse, resolve old disappointments and conflict, and remember the best from those we've loved and lost. Their legacy to us can help us learn and grow to find a deeper understanding of what matters most in life.

Psychedelic Pop sound "Medical Masks" is a love story that features emotions such as "Frustration, sadness, and love-struck" The deeper meaning behind this song is about a pandemic separating a new, young couple. Once they start to learn that people truly do not care about wearing a mask to prevent the pandemic from getting worse, they let out their frustrations and sing about it. I decided to go with psychedelic with a pinch of rap to create a rushed, off the head feeling about how you are not the only one going through this and that no one is singled out. It criticizes the ones who don't do their part to protect more vulnerable people.

The Survivor’s Guide to Life is an on-going series of discussions between Dr Peter Bernstein - a coach and mentor with nearly 50 years of experience working with emotional trauma and its impacts and podcast host, Jenny Stevenson - a seasoned coach and mentor who has worked with Dr Bernstein for more than a decade.

Chayntelle Monterio, Monomously known as Chayntelle, is a recording artist, producer, and songwriter. Her career professions started at a young age from wild imaginations and a love for creating stories and singing. Inspired by her Grandmother, she built her skills from love and drive. Her biggest accomplishments so far were winning two playwriting theatre competition medals in her second year of high school. Outside of work, she states: “I’m working when I’m not working.” She argues that her most special traits are “Self-inspiration” and “Self-motivation.”
