Fragile and beautiful like a flower petal on rippling water

OK ... make that 4 :-) Tried to trip you up by continuing from the bottom of the page, but nope ... Still just as good with yet another totally different mood. A wonderful sense of intimacy mixed in with nostalgia from the lyrics, melancholy from the piano & cello, and fragility from the whispered almost broken voice ... Even the bird chirps can't lift the spirit :-) Really enjoyed my time here this morning Lisa. Great musical discovery !

@anne_lee-1: Yes, there's such a feeling playing (fumbling with) an older instrument. There's a residual energy of other souls resonating from the strings.

Wonderful soundscape with the piano and cello.  It's fun to go all the way back to the beginning sometimes to see how the artist evolves.  And you most certainly have. But, it appears your most finest work, is when the music is stripped down to the acoustic bare bones, and your expressive and honest vocal drives the point home.  Great stuff.

A song with an old, out of tune piano and cello (also played out of tune) with lots of background noise is difficult to manage! Can you hear the birds at the end?
