My name is Ayumi, born in the US and raised in Japan. I've been living in the US for the past 20 years. I've been through many musical phases in my life from Rock to Hip Hop to electronic music. DJing and posting mixes of different genres of electronic music is my hobby. I like to carefully select tracks that would collectively tell a story as a whole and take listeners to an unforgettable journey. My focus is to contribute mixes for multiple channels to meet new people in the community and vibe together. Bernstein is the vision and music project by Matthias Smith, a young creative mind from Switzerland. Currently living in Berlin, Bernstein aims at luring the audience into his vortex of never-ending colours, spherical streams and atmospheres. His sound palette exceeds the standardized deep house and techno sounds by finding timbres and textures through experimental approaches. "This mixtape is a sonic journey through a nocturnal, dreamlike landscape. I spun a web around the track selection using my own field recordings from India that I made a year ago and also used for my latest album ‘tirtha’ released on @hyalinrecords . I wanted to build oneiric layers of sound, all based on a meditative focal point and hypnotic pulsations"

With the dog days of summer in full swing, we're really excited to welcome Iffie from Athens as our special guest for the 316th episode of the Deep Breakfast Series.

Iffie is a dj & founder of “Into The Abyss” podcast series, based in Athens.
Her sound explores dark and deep elements with an affinity for modern techno.
She loves making her sets as cohesive as possible, intertwining ambient & deep techno by leaving no room for sudden transitions.
