Wo "Alte Kommode" drauf steht, ist ganz klar "Brockenhouse" drin. 

Brockenhouse bewegt sich mit rund 120-128pbm irgendwo zwischen Tech-House, Progressive und Techno. Irgendwo zwischen monotonem Beat, epischen Fanfaren, groovigen Basslines, kitschigen Synths und verspicktem Geknartze.
Von alten Klassikern, über sorgfälltig ausgessuchte Pop Edits, bis zu noch nie gehörten Geheimtipps - es wird sorgfältig selektioniert, spontan präsentiert, theatralisch inszeniert, mutig balanciert, ausgefallen jongliert, gegenseitig inspiriert. Die ganze Sauce noch mit Text- & Sound-Snippets garniert und mit viel Herz serviert, sodass dann auch die letzte Zelle mit vibriert. 

Oder wenn man  Chlüppliheiri zitiert:  "Ich bi scho gspannt was als nöschsts chunnt" - denn Brockenhouse ist bewusst ein bisschen übermütiger und abwechslungsreicher als 0815 Club Mukke.

Für das Festival des Arcs 2023 haben Père Cushion und Atonom die Staubwedel hervor geholt und ihr DJ-Projekt «Alte Kommode» zu neuem Leben erweckt. 
Als würde man Omas Nachttischlämpchen mit einer intelligenten LED-Glühbirne bestücken oder so.

Mit rollenden Bässen, groovigen Beats und sphärischen Zwischenparts nehmen die beiden Gründer des Faffing Horses-Kollektiv uns mit auf eine Reise auf ihrem fliegenden Teppich. Andromeda Retour.

Here is our recording from our set from Saturday Evening (21-0) at Feel Festival 2023. Once again, we were given the chance to play on our "own" stage called Gleisdreieck, which was build and organized by @paarpaletten. So thankful and grateful for the amazing vibes and the crewlove that we recieved! 

Unfortunately, we got some technical issues with recording our set (we keep doin' that!) similiar to last year - you will hear that in some tracks, but you will make it through :).

Die ALTE KOMMODE (aka ATONOM & PÈRE CUSHION) und BEEFHARP haben im November 2023 ein Ausflügli nach Richterswil gemacht, um im Rahmen der als UNESCO Kulturerbe registrierten "Räbenchilbi"  in einem traditionsbehafteten Chäller ein Ständchen zu spielen. 

Ganz nach dem Motto  "Eifach Bangers ballere und nacher dummi Sprüch mache" wurde in klassischer b2b2b Manier spontan gepickt, gemixt, gespielt, genossen und gehörig Dampf gemacht.

Musikalischer Rundlauf mit USB Sticks. Oder so in der Art.

Und da alle drei mit ihren individuellen DJ Projekten des öfteren auch mal etwas langsamer unterwegs sind, sei erwähnt: Wo "Alte Kommode" drauf steht, ist ganz klar "Brockenhouse" drin. 

Und auch beefharp hat gezeigt, dass da auf seinem Datenträger sehr wohl auch ein paar Stücke schlummern, die gerne ein wenig zügiger gespielt werden können. 

Entstanden ist ein Set, welches ziemlich gut auf den Punkt bringt, was denn Brockenhouse eigentlich ist und nun, nach einer stimmungsvollen Nacht, auch in den Alltag Einzug halten darf.
