With production by TorN records Blaze Infamous and Lyric‘s by The W.O.L.V.E.S own DraMatik & M. Diesel’s, Ms. J Lyric. This will be a timeless release, bring back to life the Classic Swell Season. This fusion puts Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova over Hip-Hop Beat and brings the original back in a way you never imagined.

The Swell Season Hip-Hop version was inspired by the music styling’s of The Independent film sensation; Once with Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova. Infusing Folk music with Hip-Hop beats; The Swell Season Hip-Hop takes a masterpiece and translates that to a phenomenon the streets can vibe to. From the belly of Hip-Hop culture to the green Isles of Ireland comes music that transcends genre and culture. 

Seeing that the urban culture would be robbed of such great music, DraMatik inspired by Glen & Marketa took it upon him self to make an attempt to bring this music to the fore front of Hip-Hop Music. Reaching out to Blaze Infamous with his ideal, Blaze quickly took to the music and idea that DraMatik had presented. It was almost like magic how the two connected. Then seeing that the project needed a woman’s touch and feel, like that of Marketa Irglova. DraMatik asked an old friend Ms. J Lyric to come on board and bless the project with a woman’s touch. The result- The Swell Season of Hip-Hop.
