I started Unlimited Oceans as a side project/alter ego to explore the more electronic and dance inspired side of my musical interests. In 2020 and 2021, I predominately used the UO name to make DnB and Trance inspired music. After that, I turned my focus back to Faint Waves for quite some time.

Now, three years later, Unlimited Oceans returns with True Faith; the most uplifting, club inspired UO release yet. Rooted closely in 90’s and early 00's dance, rave, eurobeat, etc. I definitely wanted to capture that spirit, while still grounding it in the sort of hi-fi dream space that UO occupies. That’s kind of where the title comes from, in addition to being named after the New Order song, I think it alludes to the “religious experience” side of this type of music; the emotional, euphoric, otherworldly, transcendental nature of it.

A2K is happy to present the musical debut of Cut N' Dry with Oh No! Anyway. A short and sweet microcosm of 90's sampledelia, cut-up bliss. This single features the breakbeat and hip-hop tinged "Oh No! Anyway" and the funked up guitar boogie "The Bop-A-Doo". The single is a loop and sample based sound collage that doesn't particularly concern itself with innovation or modern conveniences, CnD just wanted to tug on influential strings like Steinski, Fatboy Slim, and Coldcut. Above all, apparently he had fun making these novel little tunes, what a concept!

CONCRETE JUNGLE.

Unlimited Oceans makes its A2K debut with a ceremonious return to DnB. On his first outing in the genre in 5 years, UO indulges in a melange of DnB, Jungle, and Breakcore. The result is a two song joint that hinges as much on abyssal atmosphere as it does dense percussion.

The titular track, "Concrete Jungle", is a succinct mood piece. While "Endless Highway" is a bit more lush and drawn out in its composition.

AMORE MIO DOLCE

A stop-gap single while I wrap up a full-length album, Amore Mio Dolce is a lavish and languid slice of Disco-tinged Library music, informed by Mediterranean Funk and Italian film scores alike. The titular song, “Amore Mio Dolce” is a vaguely romantic but largely sensual BGM joint, featuring chorused keys and wah'd guitars on a bed of aquatic synthesizers.
