Joe Veevo, a Dominican/Cuban hip-hop artist and recording engineer, was born in Miami, and raised between Miami, New York, and Louisville, where he currently resides. Playfully referring to himself as the "prince with no throne," Veevo's musical journey began with a deep-rooted love for hip-hop, influenced by legends such as Rakim, Nas, Biggie, Bone Thugs, Tupac, Dr. Dre, and Immortal Technique.

As Veevo matured, his passion for music expanded to embrace all genres, shaping his eclectic and soulful approach to creating music. Drawing inspiration from the diverse neighborhoods of his upbringing, Veevo uses poetry to paint a vivid, compelling picture of life. His lyrical themes range from love to politics to his journey on breaking free from the cycles of violence and crime and the harsh realities of inner-city life .

Veevo's artistry is an eloquent balance of lyricism and simplicity, rendering his work profound, poetic and deeply relatable.
