Saw this poem on the Tube in London (part of the Poems on The Underground program) and couldn't get it out my head for about a year, so I've finally got it out my head and into a piece of music. I've edited it a bit to fit my purposes.

NB. I have no intention on infringing the rights of the poet, only been inspired by some incredible writing. If I get a release, I would ensure that the rights are legally secured and paid for.

@lindseyherbert is a commanding figure in today's techno scene, particularly renowned across the Southwest for her unwavering dedication to techno's more underground sounds, and her ability to command crowds no matter the circumstances. 

Since 2015, she has been a fixture alongside top-tier artists in the bustling scenes of Los Angeles and San Francisco, leaving an indelible mark on both cities. Originally a resident of Robot Ears and now Direct to Earth, Lindsey has been an integral part of San Francisco's techno landscape. In 2019, Lindsey made her solo production debut on LA's Ascetic Limited, marking the beginning of a prolific journey in the studio. Her releases have proliferated, with recent drops on esteemed U.S. underground labels like Truncate, Blank Code, Northern Parallels, and Crisis of Man, as well as notable European and South American imprints such as Noise Manifesto, Planet X, NECHTO, and many others. 

In a noteworthy evolution, Lindsey's personal sound has transitioned to a more hypnotic, groovy, and dancefloor-oriented style. Her sets, ranging from ambient to deep to peak-time and high-energy, are meticulously crafted to suit the atmosphere, aiming to immerse listeners in a captivating journey and lock them into a relentless groove. Beyond her performances and productions, Lindsey is also a co-founder of EvilGroove, a burgeoning label that continues to expand its roster of talented emerging artists. 

This set was recorded live at Richie Hawtin’s From Our Minds Tour in New York.

This was an hour of pure bliss for me as the crowd was super-enthusiastic and went with every move i made.

Andy Martin (@andy-martin) is one of my favourite musical discoveries from the last few years. A while back, after hearing an iconic tune he made called "Revolution" featuring Lee Scratch Perry, I was excited about his music, and also learning more about him as an artist. Andy is based in Guadalajara, Mexico, with Jamaican and Mexican roots.

Whilst I was touring Mexico, we shared a few gigs together, and all the locals referred to him as "the best in the country", which I can completely understand. Since discovering Andy's music I've been hooked on his productions, an incredible fuse of old school and new school dub techno, underpinned by influences from his heritage which flourish in the form of exciting percussion & unique, emotional melodies. 

On top of this, Andy is very humble, and  a very talented DJ, and I'm super happy to host him in the series.

As a DJ, he delivers fast-paced, eclectic sets that seamlessly mix tracks from different eras. Temudo is also a co-founder of Hayes and runs Tema Mastering.

Parisian-based producer and live artist dc11 specialises in modular synthesis, crafting deep and organic techno with rich, looping textures. 

Drawing inspiration from the hands-on manipulation of sound through toggling switches, as well as from artists like Mike Parker, Sandwell District, and Luke Slater, dc11 began his electronic music journey with the acquisition of a Teenage Engineering OP-1, where he first created ambient loops. Despite initially possessing limited knowledge of modular synthesis, his eagerness to explore has led to the development of a unique and atmospheric sound. dc11 is definitely an artist to watch!
