I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to share this set for a movement/yoga workshop, created in collaboration with my dear friend Lo (Loretta Laurin, they/she) for this year's Bass Coast. This was our third year getting to be a part of the festival, this time back at the Slowtempo stage on Friday at 1pm.

Workshop description:
Rest and recharge your batteries! Get your bass treatment while enjoying guided mindful movement and stretching. Based on gentle hatha and yin/restorative yoga, this easeful and breath-infused session will give you the space you need to ground and rejuvenate. A live DJ will weave deep sonic serenity into the practice, guiding you into restorative bassy bliss. The practice will be choice-based, body-neutral, and accessible to a range of bodies and abilities.

On a day with good weather, I feel like going outside. It's nice to travel somewhere far away, but even a simple walk around the neighborhood feels great.
On a nice day, I love to go to a large park near my home. When I lie down on the grass and gaze at the sky, I feel as if I'm being drawn into it. The clouds slowly change shape as they drift by, and airplanes fly, leaving white streaks behind.
When I close my eyes, I can smell the grass and hear the voices of children playing in the distance. The wind feels gentle as it caresses my cheek, and I feel a sense of peace, forgetting the hustle and bustle of daily life.
I don't need to do anything special; just being there makes me feel happy. A day with good weather is an irreplaceable time for me, offering me this simple kind of happiness.

Bio 
Fakear's electronic collages are inspired by influences as divergent but inspiring as the post-dubstep scene in London, and the films of Miyazaki. 
Having established a fervent fanbase in his native France, Fakear has gifted his globally-tuned dance music to an even larger audience after dates supporting Bonobo and ODESZA across the US and Canada. He’s made waves in the UK as well, garnering deserved notice from a consistently attention-catching figure herself—M.I.A.— who tapped the young phenom to produce tracks on her latest record and asked him to perform at her Meltdown Festival in London. His last record "Talisman" sees him tap in his old influences, but with the experience and techniques of his 10ish years experience in music producing.
