Running Sun

This song is a quintessence vibe of my room. I wrote the lyrics to it, as well as the chorus approximately  August 2024, but never fully completed it until I decided to revisit all the demos I've done since the start of that year and realized: "god daymn, this is actual fire". I'm never coming back to my past though, I think I got whatever I needed to from that period of my life, at least for now.

Literally wrote this before an exam, the same night. I couldn't fall asleep but I couldn't study as well, just sat there in a complete disillusionment with myself, hating the fact I can't force a single ounce of respect towards my mom and her money, myself, my time and my own sanity.
I knew I was doing the wrong thing, I blamed myself for it, but I couldn't understand that I had no other choice.
Worst. Feeling. Ever.
At the very least, I got to distract myself at least a bit.
Felt like Cobain while recording the part after the "rip me and rape me and..." part.
