Another track for Project M, this one's for the new Wario Land stage in 3.6.  I really wanted to embrace that "Nintendo" sound, and tried to craft it to fit alongside the AMAZING music in some of the newer Wario Land games (seriously, check out the soundtrack for Shake It) as well as hearken to the series' roots on the Gameboy.  I also tried to take into account the stage and the character, making it a little bit of a few things - badass, goofy, unique, and mischievous.  That's a LOT of marks to hit, but hopefully I made a suitable track and did the character justice!

I could not find the soundtrack for this game anywhere (in high quality), so I ripped high(er)quality versions myself. The songs are amazing (especially the Tower of Heaven remix), and I really wanted to be able to listen to them on the go, so I uploaded them here.

I had this idea rattling in my head a couple days ago out of nowhere, completely unprompted, as for whatever reason I started humming the melody and said "I should do that one some time"

So about 7 hours later with many Akai MPC3000 samples and Korg M1 instances, here's my take on it

This was actually started very early on in the Melponterations project, before "Across The Sea Of Clouds" was even finished. But I struggled for quite a while with trying to figure out how to make a somewhat original, Modern-style song that wasn't just "another Ice Cap remix".

This is likely the last﻿ song on the OST I'll be involved with personally, so I just want to say that it's been a hell of a musical ride, and thank you so much to all the fans. Now, for those level designs...

Falk is a home-grown musician with a skillset just about as diverse as his interests. Hailing from Malaysia, he jumped with both feet into audio for games right out of college and spent a few years as Audio Lead at a rhythm game publisher. After having travelled to Boston to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Falk has been involved in countless fan productions and remixes, original compositions, arrangements, and orchestrations.

Falk, through his affiliation with the Video Game Orchestra, has had the privilege to work in the presence of industry veterans such as Hitoshi Sakimoto of Basiscape, Masashi Hamauzu, and Go Shiina of Namco Bandai, amongst others, in the capacity of recording and mix engineer for their various projects in ensembles varying from simple instrumental overdubs to full orchestral/choir recordings.
