After many months spent moving home base to California - I finally got the controllers out and recorded this set on a Sunday afternoon :)

Ishikawa - Bassline Expansion [Dj Set - June 2025]

I was 17 in 2007 when I first opened a DAW and tried to make sense of the sounds in my head. No roadmap, no mentors—just passion, curiosity, and the magic of Psytrance pulling me forward. That spark became Iliuchina—my first project, my sanctuary, my rebellion, my identity.

This set marks the first time I’ve played as Iliuchina in Europe in over 10 years. It wasn’t planned. It happened last minute, but felt deeply me. I played a few of the tracks that made me fall in love with music in the first place—the ones that made a 17-year-old girl believe she could speak through sound.

Returning to this project after so long felt like opening an old diary, only to find the words still alive. Thank you to everyone who danced with me, who listened, who felt. This one meant everything.

"Cardinal Sin" by Malificent (my techno project) comes out this Wednesday, 23rd July 2025.
"Cardinal Sin" is a melodic and hypnotic track. A driving bass-line and sub-bass frequencies create a sense of darkness and depth. I experimented with the full spectrum of the sonic field through the use of interesting panning techniques to create a sense of three dimensions - I want to make the listener feel like they are "inside" the music. 

"Cardinal Sin" will be available on all major music platforms from 23rd July 2025.
