O Acid Haze é um projeto solo formado por Lucas Pires em Curitiba, Paraná (Brasil) em Novembro de 2011. Antes de se focar nesse projeto, Lucas tocava bateria e cantava numa obscura e quase desconhecida banda grunge chamada Mudgrass, que ele tinha formado em 2007 com dois amigos e que fizeram alguns ensaios esporádicos tocando covers de várias bandas grunge (De Nirvana a Alice in Chains, enfim...). Em 2011, Lucas queria levar o Mudgrass a sério, então ele começou a escrever diversas letras de música. Ele tentou gravar a primeira demo da banda sozinho, mas sem o devido apoio dos outros integrantes, o Mudgrass se separou naquele mesmo ano. Logo, em Novembro, Lucas decidiu continuar a compor letras de música, e assim começou o projeto "Cold Haze". A ideia era levar o grunge que ele fazia com o Mudgrass e adicionar ainda mais doses de Heavy Metal e Noise Rock. Mas devido a existência de uma banda de Gothic Metal com o mesmo nome, ele mudou para apenas "Haze", mas já havia outra banda grunge brasileira com o mesmo nome, então, quando ele ouvia a música "Acid Bubble" dos Alice in Chains, ele decidiu adicionar o "Acid" no nome, ficando assim "Acid Haze". Enfim, durante os anos de 2011 e 2013, Lucas passou a compor ainda mais músicas, e selecionando algumas, decidiu gravar uma demo usando os poucos recursos que tinha. E o resultado foi o álbum demo "First Demos", disponibilizado aqui mesmo.

Acid Haze is a solo project formed by Lucas Pires in Curitiba, Paraná (Brazil) in November 2011. Before focusing on this project, Lucas played drums and sang vocals in an obscure and almost unknown grunge band called Mudgrass, which he formed in 2007 with two friends and they did some infrequent rehearsals playing covers of various grunge bands (Nirvana From Alice in Chains , anyway ...). In 2011, Lucas wanted to take Mudgrass seriously, so he started writing many lyrics. He tried to record the first demo CD alone, but without proper support from other members, Mudgrass broke up In that same year. Thus, in November, Lucas decided to continue composing lyrics, and began the project "Cold Haze". The idea was to get the grunge he did with Mudgrass and add even more dosages of Heavy Metal and Noise Rock. But due to the existence of a Gothic Metal band with the same name, he changed it to just "Haze", but there was another Brazilian grunge band (From the Northeast) with the same name, so when he heard the song "Acid Bubble" of Alice in Chains he decided to add the "Acid" in the name, turning "Acid Haze." Anyway, during the years 2011 and 2013, Lucas began writing even more songs, and selecting a few, decided to record a demo using the few resources he had. And the result was the demo album "First Demos", available here.
