Truly a moving episode. I can't help wondering how people of  this peaceful society lived, how they invented their writing. The dismantling of diamond's collapse theory appears well founded and is the delivery is a masterpiece of storytelling. 

Absolutely amazing episode, in fact, probably my favorite yet. Absolutely fascinating and incredibly sad story.

Wonderful episode. Although; the use of the word genocide is gratuitous. Unknowingly spreading disease is not genocide and there was never a intentional wiping out of the Rapa Nui people.

I want to explore how so many societies could collapse all at once, and seemingly without warning, as well as examine the lessons it might teach us in our increasingly globalised and interconnected world.
