It's go big or go home for Sydney based DJ / producer Jarred Baker, whose high energy sets showcase both the skill and musicality that have made him a mainstay on both local and international stages.

DJing since he was 19 years old, Sydney’s house music scene became a welcoming home and community that fostered his talent and passion. Years of experience has seen his style evolve to sit in what he refers to as the space between tech house and techno, bringing a ravey edge to his dynamic and entertaining house sets.

For years his trademark big hat was full of well-honed tricks that brought each show to life. These days the hat is by request.

Influenced by the icons of house music and its strong heritage, he’s inspired by the fresh take on the genre from today’s new generation of talent. He has directly supported artists including Chris Lake, LF System, Chris Lorenzo, Atrak, Cassian, Joel Corry and Horse Meat Disco.

Jarred has toured Europe and the UK since 2022, with highlights at London’s Ministry of Sound and Milkshake Festival in Amsterdam. At home, he’s played to a 15,000 strong crowd at Sydney WorldPride’s Bondi Beach Party in 2023 and festival sets at the iconic Splendour in the Grass and Beyond the Valley. Jarred featured on the lineup for the Australian installment of Glitterbox in 2023 and currently holds a coveted residency at Ivy’s Club Above.

In 2024 he signed a five-single deal with TMRW Music, taking his sound from the stage into the studio. His lead single “Uh Huh” dropped October 4, 2024.

CHRS lives by the mantra "No thoughts, just vibes," creating an immersive experience where the music takes centre stage. His ADHD-fueled spontaneity ensures that every beat is felt, not just heard. The dance floor becomes a canvas, and chrs, the master painter, leaves his mark with strokes of infectious energy.
