"Illusions" is the first solo album by Thomas Bergersen (known for his music with Two Steps From Hell). It has taken over 3 years to compose, orchestrate, record and produce. This is an audio demo with excerpts from a selection of tracks on the album, due out end of summer 2011.

This is truly the most wonderful time of the year - purely magical. And I think it ought to be accompanied by music which beckons nostalgic warmth. This version of Dwell was born of late nights at a piano...always wondering if the melodies of the original could be rewritten in a rather free and spontaneous fashion. This is what emerged. It is best enjoyed under a star-lit sky as the snow falls  - of course with several angels & baby deer in your midst as you sip hot drinking chocolate. Island Dream Sounds: 'Miyakojima' by An Di Yi

Escape to the subtropical island of Miyakojima, Japan, with this chilled ambient trip hop soundscape evoking pristine white sand beaches fringed by turquoise waters, some of the most beautiful in all of Okinawa.

This track evokes the feeling of floating in the crystal-clear sea, exploring vibrant coral reefs teeming with life. Snorkelling amongst colourful fish and gentle sea turtles, or kayaking in hidden coves.  Think of the laid-back island atmosphere, the warm subtropical climate, and the gentle breezes.

'Miyakojima' blends dubby basslines, delicate piano melodies, and orchestral textures with a touch of Japanese koto, creating an immersive and tranquil sonic escape. Perfect for relaxation, daydreaming of tropical getaways, or unwinding after a long day.
