Take Off- Casper (Remix Szymon Matecki)

So this thing here - first of all it’s not a new mixtape ! This was recorded between 2010 & 2012 

The original idea was to put a mixtape together reminiscent of the old Dj Yoda tapes but on steroids. Prog Rock into Dubstep w/ Film samples etc 

After spending a month on the first 10 minutes I decided to make six 10 minute mixes and then stick em all together but released each 10 min mix as I went along - this making sense ? 

The first 10 minutes was called ‘Bruteiful’
Second - ‘Sleaze on Toast’
Third - ‘Scumness’
Fourth - ‘KingPin’
Fifth - ‘ Cut n Shut ‘
Sixth - ‘Oddball’ 

No serato used until third mix.

Anyway - I never did put them all out as one Mix so this is it here . 
Originally supposed to be called ‘FrostBytes’ but I settled on 
Long Lost Frost as 14 years have past !

I Won’t lie to you it’s a pretty hard listen at times , ( especially for me )
It’s basically an hour of a goldfish with a TV remote and record collection. 
None of it really makes much sense but fuck it ! You might like something in there

Long Lost Frost

There’s a hollowness here, a void that stretches endlessly, where even my own voice feels foreign, swallowed by the howling winds of solitude. I find myself wandering through this frozen wasteland, a landscape of broken dreams and unspoken words. 

The demons wait for me here. They always do. Shadows given shape by regret and fear, their whispers blend with the storm. 
But what choice do I have but to face them? To let the storm rage on and try to hold my ground. I am tired, so tired, yet I walk forward, step by step, through the endless white, through the cold that bites at my resolve.

For now, I am alone with the snow, the silence, and the battle within. And though I long for an end to this frozen agony, I know the only way out is through.

There is a sound I can almost hear, just beyond the edges of my mind—a slow, patient ticking, an unheard countdown to something I cannot name. It hovers in the quiet spaces, in the pause between breaths, in the way the air shifts before a storm.

I do not know what it is counting down to. I only know that it is always there.

Some days, I think it is time itself unraveling, thinning at the edges, escaping my grasp no matter how tightly I try to hold it. Other days, I think it is me. That I am fading, piece by piece, unnoticed even by myself.

I reach for certainty, for something solid, but the future is a blurred thing, shifting like a dream half-remembered upon waking. And beneath it all, a quiet fear takes root—irrational, insistent—that one day I will simply vanish. Not in an instant, not in a moment of catastrophe, but in the slow erosion of being.

I wonder if others hear it too, this quiet pulse of something ending, or if it is mine alone to bear. Perhaps it has always been there, this unseen metronome ticking in the background of existence, and only now have I learned to listen. But listen to what? A warning? A promise?

I do not know. I only know that the counting continues, steady, relentless. And I am left standing at the threshold of something I cannot see, waiting for an ending I do not understand.
