Among The Citizens are a 4 piece indie/alternative band based near Peterborough, UK. The band have collaboratively created their own distinct sound from a blend of influences such as The Cure and Echo and The Bunnymen with their dreamy, infectious chorus guitar, as well as contemporary artists such as JAWS with their lush and memorable synthesiser/guitar melodies. In more recent years, they have enjoyed the west coast pop scene listening to bands such as HUNNY and Bad Suns. 
Among The Citizens have supported the likes of Bloxx, Childcare, Valeras, Gaffa Tape Sandy and Redfaces to name a few.

2019 has seen the band included on the Big in 2019 list published by respected promoters This Feeling in association with Fred Perry Subculture. Their first single release of the year Next Time received critical acclaim and was backed up by a Spring UK tour. The summer saw the band play showcases in association with Louder Than War at The Great Escape, support Jaws and Easy Life at 110 Above Festival and open for Gengahr at Cambridge Junction. Their latest single In Your Car, released in October was produced by Jon Hucks (Spring King/False Heads) and mastered 
by Mike Cave (Lewis Capaldi/The Charlatans).�The end of the year see’s the band head out on a headline 
tour with This Feeling to cities including Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester and London. 

Among The Citizens have received radio support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio and won the New Music Generator award for Breakthrough Artist voted for by a panel of music experts from across East Anglia.

Yes Cosmic with a "K" (Kozmik and a "z") for reverent reasons of true synchronicity with Great Spirit. 

 Divinely Dedicated to whats deemed as (what I feel and know to be) new high frequency, cosmic consciously attuned forms of sonic sound alchemy Meta Music. Masterful and Magnificent! The letter "K" is deliberately used in the word Kosmic as a metaphysical concept, metaphorical perception, and esoteric deciphering. Where as I'd prefer to also use the word: "Kozmik" and "Muzik"... Yet I'm keeping the display name simplified for easier searches.

Most songs/compositions will very well be newly created tracks/songs and recordings by artistically happening, up n coming, inspirational musical authors. Any of you who are the authors, I share, dedicate, and make a special thanks to both the authors and all of their helpers. Like an aetheric, astral-soulfully-loving Kosmic conscious shout out from my grateful-heart to your masterfully-genuis-filled-musically intelligent-heart.,.

All About :: The Art of Collage & Rhetorical Velocity

I am specifically interested in situations where composers anticipate and strategize future third-party remixing of their compositions as part of a larger and complex rhetorical strategy that plays out across physical and digital spaces. We find this type of thinking—the asking of “how might the text be rewritten?” and “why, where, and for whom might this text be rewritten?”—an increasingly important set of questions in a digital age characterized, for instance, by swift, easy, and deep web searching and by copying and pasting practices. 

COLLAGE ::  Artistic compositions of materials and objects pasted and/or sewn/woven over and through surfaces, often with unifying and/or juxtaposing structures, lines, colors, themes in order to create textured, alive, amplified spaces. 

SYNTHESIS (AKA Mashup): Creating Compelling Texts comprised of borrowed, reconstituted, and original material.
