A tumultuous artifact, ANSPECT travels through the electronic seas with precision, mixing organic techno and foreign octaves. After a first single 'How Many' released in October 2023, French duo ANSPECT drops a massive 3-tracks EP on Family Piknik Music including a bonus remix by Family Piknik regular member Mood Gorning, who emphasizes the Afro-House core of the original version.

On this EP, we also discover new influences, from acid, broken beat to melodic techno. ‘Minarat’ offers a darker vision of the dancefloors with insisting synths calling for peak time euphoria, while ‘User Entry’ breaks frontiers thanks to an hybrid balance between acid, breaks and techno. A very creative and interesting proposal with a fresh approach in the studio, somewhere in between The Chemical Brothers and the classic Afterlife power effect.

In a truly galvanizing frenzy, ANSPECT creates its own spacetime, blurring boundaries between melodic pulsations and dark echos.
A strong synergy with multiple influences forms the original and surprising DNA of the group.

As a key member of the Family Piknik team, Pontias showcases here a wonderful and emotive musical range. "We felt like this track needed the biggest exposure because it gives us goosebumps each time we press play”, comments Tom Pooks, Family Piknik Music’s head honcho. ‘Go Bro’ is a strong melodic track Pontias composed with his friend Convergence System in his hometown of Saint-Etienne (France).

For this new release pack, Family Piknik has invited two monsters on board: Hernan Cattaneo & Theus Mago. Hernan Cattaneo has put Argentina on the center of the Progressive House musical map since more than 2 decades. True hero of the melodic deep signature, he has teamed up with Marcelo Vasemi to deliver the perfect remix. Deep, sexy, groovy as hell, this rework smoothly play with the original melodies and will have many bodies shaking all over the globe. On the flip side, the always creative Theus Mago drops two versions of his remix. Somewhere between Nu-Disco and Minimal House, the Mexican (also known as Bufi, signed to labels like Turbo, Kill The DJ and Correspondant) doesn’t stick to the original theme at all and takes us on a one way trip. Just skip to 3’15 on the ‘Meet her at a Zoom Parade’ and you’ll probably have a huge smile on your face when you’ll see how tricky Theus can be ! Full of surprises, unexpected and futuristic, these remixes might turn you upside down.

Pontias also cooked up a brand new Alternative Mix, in a more dance-ready shape, using floating sounds and dropping a nice groove over the original theme’s moody synths. TheCherry on the cake, this release comes with an official video. Shot by Patrick Ortega, next to Montpellier (Family Piknik festival’s own land), it pictures a wild and romantic road trip through the breathtaking landscapes of south of France.
