This September, Christian Smith will release his next full artist album titled ‘Input-Output’ consisting of 11 original productions once again displaying his prominence within the realms of underground music. Each track embodies Christian’s message of creating authentic techno, with powerful percussion and melodic basslines echoing out throughout the entirety of the album.
“This track is probably the tune with the most reactions on dance floor of this album. People go mad ;) I used the same “Shepard Tone” (rising sound) plug-in that I used in my track “Total Departure” which came out on Drumcode in 2008 and added yet another crazy siren sound on top of it. One of the great ambassadors of Berlin techno, Ellen Allien presents her brand new album ‘Alientronic’. This is a body of work rooted in the city where it was recorded, Ellen’s home and the place where she discovered techno sparking a love a air that will burn for infinity.

‘Alientronic’ was recorded during the cold winter months in Berlin at the end of 2018, a time when creativity hits a peak in the city. Sub-zero temperatures and dark nights keep the artists locked away indoors, nding time and space to jour- ney inwards and tap into the deepest recesses of their creative energy.

The album represents an artist who is brimming with ideas, years of experience breathe life into Ellen’s work - it’s refined, yet liberated, informed by the past but very much looking to the future. Ellen disseminates classic techno and acid tropes through her visionary lens, vocals are looped and warped, tough beats slam down as stirring pads coax us into an emotive realm and we’re privy to a spellbinding other world full of mysterious exotic allure.

The story of Fanciful started in the end of 2011 in Berlin-Pankow. Our matter of concern is to reflect the current club content, for this reason we directed our focus especially on the dark-and deeper-side of Techno- and House-Music. The releasepolicy is very old-fashioned and characterized by the focus on Vinyl but also digital.
 
Furthermore we hosted Suaheli for the Tech-House output of our artists. 
 
In 2012 we founded Fanciful Ltd. in collaboration with Frank Savio (Frankfurt a. M.) which is more related to the underground aspect. The choice of the medium falls primarily on white labeled vinyl to let the music speaks for itself. In addition to that the label is characterized by a limited number of copies.
