Melbourne based yute Ed ( and honcho of Sleepr Tape Records) bookended a summer in London playing gigs at The Gun. We managed to capture the second from early september. Its a stunning mix of murky sounds, dub, offbeat eighties  lo fi pop, post punk, hip hop, and finishing and lovely, crunchy low slung bangers. Its the full six hours and its fucking great. The Neubau founder has worked tirelessly for years showcasing the best in raw, rugged, forward thinking music. Florian Stöffelbauer is Heap. The prolific man co-leads the Vienna based record label Neubau and Wiener Brut, which keeps impressing vinyl enthusiasts since its birth in 2015. Artists like Aufgang B, Karamika, Leo James and more recently Alexander Arpeggio, Gil.Barte, MR TC and Lo Kindre joined the roster and participated with forward thinking and brave dance music.
		
As diverse and interesting as his label’s output, so is Florian’s DJing. Deep knowledge of music and many secret gems in his vinyl bag let him guide faithful listeners all over Europe.

For years now, an old recording of Jeffrey Sfire at Cocktail D'Amore's one and only cosmic hole was one of the highest references for us in terms of downtempo Italo sleaze - an almost 6 hours recording serving more like a PhD aural dissertation specialized in some of the most remarkable dancefloor digs (mainly Europe) had to offer in the 80s at under 115BPM. To be able to share it publicly on the HAND Mix Series as we reach number 50 is a huge honor and we're greatly thankful to Giacomo and Giovanni, the two cuties behind Discodromo that made this possible. We hope you can appreciate it as much as we have over these past years. Here it is HAND #50 featuring the unique sleazy wizardry of Jeffrey Sfire captured in a special moment in time during the moist and lubricated atmospheres of Cocktail, now online - listen carefully! He is also 1/2 of Mascaras duo along with 5ive, destroying dance floors from the most intimate venues in Japan all the way to playing 10 hours set at Berlin's Cocktail D'Amore constantly over the years. 

Chida remains that rarest of phenomena, a performer who has managed to carve out a global DJIng schedule purely from the merits of his sheer skill behind the decks, and has been beloved from headz around the world for the last 30 years.

Berlin via Ireland, David has gained a cult following among well educated music fans via his label Transmigration. Following taste over hype along with careful art direction he’s been responsible for unearthing and reissuing some of the best psychedelic electronic
music from years gone by. 

More recently he’s expanded operations to include two new labels - Sacred Stones, an outlet for his own DJ edits; hand stamped and vinyl only as well Crystal Ceremony, a label dedicated to showcasing new talents from around the world. In addition to this he co-runs Sound Migration, a collaboration with Berlin institution Sound Metaphors.

Informed by his love for digging older music as well as his position as buyer for Sound Metaphors, his DJ sets are nostalgic, transcendental and futuristic. Effortlessly combining the best in new and old electronic music. This has seen him play across Berlin’s club
landscape, from the smallest basement clubs right up to the main floor of Berghain.
