The self proclaimed ‘Galactic Gypsy’, was born to ​SING and raised in the cold streets of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Not exactly a place anyone would consider a hive of burgeoning R&B/soul artists… So she packed up and left to chase her dreams of being an international star in Toronto.

With so much to share about her journey from there to here and now, Yoana has compiled her vast range of musical styles and influences, and poured them into her debut project titled 

‘W i t h L o v e’​​. 

Raw and unrelenting, the EP contains 9 songs, executive produced and written by legendary multi-Juno award nominated Canadian Hip Hop producer Solitair (@solitairmusic). 

Each song successively reveals a bit more of Yoana’s journey towards her truth in love and life as a whole, with no regrets or apologies.

The first single released from the project in the fall of 2016, called ‘​Love Revolution​​’, is a soulful reggae tinged ode to a lover that changed her life. It is already available for download on all major digital music retail outlets.

Bio:
Writing music from the age of 16, Triple Crown Don honed his craft in high school; releasing a single as a member of rap group, ‘The Basement’. Since releasing this first single, Triple Crown Don has dedicated himself to writing and developing his talents- releasing his first full-length demo, ‘SINGLE’, in 2018 under the alias ‘As.I.Am’. Through the release of the demo, he received interest from various music industry pros and began working with FANDL from TKM Sound and changed his name to ‘Triple Crown Don’ shortly after.

Despite a string of releases already under his belt, this is just the beginning for Triple Crown Don. Over the next few years he is looking forward to evolving and growing as an artist and stepping up his game with new music, reaching new fans via radio airplay and baring his soul with breathtaking live performances.

Shawn Smoothe is preparing to drop a lyrical bomb on Toronto's Rap arena. With a heavy dose of passion, ambition and drive this hard-working artist is one to keep your eye on.
 
2007 revealed Shawn's talent via a definitive interest and aptitude in poetry through his poems, spoken word performances & collaborating on writing songs with his peers. Shawn found himself engaging in studio sessions at numerous different studios where he learned the foundations in recording, producing and songwriting over a 6 year period. Putting a hold on his passion, Shawn refocused his time and energy on education studying towards a business degree, only to drop out in 2012 after his mother passed away and realizing how short life can be and that he should focus on what is most important to him. Shawn is back with a vengeance as he asserts himself as the “smoothest out”.
 
In 2014, Shawn had a phenomenal year where his artistry was concerned. He ascended on a performance spree at some of Toronto’s premier venues; The Virgin Mod Club, El Mocambo, Revival, and WrongBar to name just a few. With 20+ gigs under his belt Shawn had made his mark and wrapped up the year by organizing a citywide tour promoting his self released mixtape “It Just Came To Me”.
 
2015 & 2016 saw Shawn expand his network, his fan base and his reach as he embarked on journeys to Miami and Los Angeles. Thereafter, Shawn refocused on a three city tour which found him travelling to Montreal, Ottawa and his native Toronto promoting a collaborative mixtape with Dazzler entitled “15 Fort York” which he dropped in the Spring of 2016.
 
Shawn draws his inspiration from everyday life, his ideals, personal experiences, family, friends and role models. His immediate intent is to create an escape for those caught up in the everyday life and to connect with and motivate people to do more than just have dreams, but to be their own director and turn those dreams into reality.
 
His game plan hasn’t changed. Shawn stands true to his business model, following up with a series of upcoming mixtapes and projects scheduled for release... he looks forward to proving his artistry and representing his city on a global scale. With Shawn’s melodic flows, articulate word play and conscious colloquialisms, he makes sure people know what he brings to the table.
