En esta nueva entrega de la serie Fun Fun Mix presentamos a Invertida, alias bajo el cual se conoce a Violeta Alegre, dj y activista travesti de Buenos Aires. En los últimos tiempos ha pasado por las cabinas porteñas de Dengue Dancing, Espacio Ro, las míticas fiestas de la señora Ros y fiestas callejeras del activismo. Actualmente está comenzando a organizar un ciclo de fiestas que se llamarán "Rizoma" y tomando clases de producción musical. Su mix para Fun Fun está cargado de viajeros sonidos sintéticos, provocando que los pies estén en la pista y la mente en algún lugar lejano. Enjoy this trip!

For the 32nd. entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Invertida, alias under which Violeta Alegre, dj and trans activist from Buenos Aires, is known. In recent times she has played at Buenos Aires venues such as Dengue Dancing, Espacio Ro, the mythical parties of Señora Ros and activism street parties. She is currently beginning to organize a series of parties to be called "Rizoma" and taking classes in music production. Her mix for Fun Fun is loaded with trippy synthetic sounds, causing the feet to be on the dancefloor and the mind somewhere far away. Enjoy this trip!

Fun Fun Mix 32 - Invertida

We kick off our November month with the always astonishing modular synth guru Gabo Barranco, also known as AAAA. He is a Mexican electronic music producer and performer, who works with an out of the box approach. Barranco’s work is driven by analogue hardware, creating intense music pieces, varying from melancholic melodious ambient to undeniably heavy acid assaults.

His discography consists of a wide spectrum of explorations released by fresh and cutting-edge record labels such as Danny Daze' Omnidisc, his LP "Runts" on the Berlin based Acid Test, "Anorak" on Jack Dept., a split EP with Soul Edifice on Acid Avengers (with an absolutely banging artwork we might add) and some of his earlier work on DRVG CVLTVRE's New York Haunted while also collaborating with visionaries like Tin Man (under their DOVS alias).

Over the better part of the last decade has been a part of events such as MUTEK MX & SF, III Points Festival Miami, Berghain, Freedom17, Institut fuer Zukunft, Comunite, Red Bull Music Academy Montreal and been a part of several events with his EXT crew. Also be sure to check out his cosmic haul through a hardware-frenzied performance at Boiler Room's Mexico City edition.

For several years Ezequiel Fanego A.k.a. F.A.N.G.O. has been one of the main catalysts of alternative electronic culture in Buenos Aires, both as DJ and as one of the founders of "Family Affair" collective. He has played and programmed in almost every venue in the city, from well-known clubs to small underground locations. His sessions are the result of years of digging for obscure electronics music, being experimental and dance oriented at the same time. His main purpose is to deliver a mental and physical experience, nourished from varied sound sources.
He runs the record label Tecnologías Elementales.
