With melodic basslines, baritone vocals and sharp riffs, the 'Kursaal' EP has earned Cardiff three piece Lantana
comparisons to pioneers Joy Division and Bauhaus. The band also draws inspiration from Molchat Doma, Interpol, and The Cure, bringing gothic inspired post-punk into the 2020s.

The five songs pair themes of decay in both personal relationships and the places around us with dark, nostalgic soundscapes, perfect for gloomy nights, dreaming of what once was.  The EP was written by the band's singer after returning home to the seaside town where he grew up, witnessing the impact of austerity on the people and places there, with integral buildings in his life boarded up, destroyed or empty.
