Hello, old & new listeners.

There’s actually a story behind this track.
Around the time I made this song, I’d recently had to quit my job. I’ve always been an anxious person- prone to anxiety attacks and feeling overwhelmed. My mental health had taken such a toll that I felt absolutely hopeless and unable to operate normally for a long time. But music made me feel at home, it made me happy and kept me afloat around one of the darkest times in my life. To be really cheesy about it, I guess at the time it felt as if music was all I had.

I’m immensely humbled and happy beyond words, that this track’s resonated with so many people around the world. It’s absolutely mindblowing to me when I see comments, messages and uploads on YouTube with people sharing stories and memories directly connected to this song. I thought it’d just be another lofi bump in a sea of awesome songs made by incredibly talented musicians and producers, but I guess that was a happy misconception.
