Belly Dance Services opens the early summer season of 2021 with a unique 3 tracker by Lille based producer @nicolakubebe and comes with a remix by label fathers @hanzoandyaman 

The starter Candiru sets the tone for this journey. A playful CR-78 drum machine beat accompanied by reggae rhythms played on keyboard. Candiru carries the soft breeze of a melody that sticks in our heads and causes big smiles. 

The sunny trip continues with Coral Noon, a piece that calls to lean back and dive into the Mediterranean vibes. Flutes and little guitar pickings mixed with smooth Synthesizers on another steady minimal precise beat. 

The closing track Sainte Rita is like a spiritual leader of this voyage. A melancholic swirling synth loop lifted higher and higher by acoustic drum elements. The song reaches various peaks in his minimalistic yet flawless composition and set’s the listeners on a travel from the 80’s ambient era to today. 

Hanzo & Yaman’s remix comes as an extra gift. A drum driven version of Candiru which still is defined by its main melody. A stepper for the perfect early afternoon in the Mediterranean.

Cult wizard Nicola Cruz delivers a breaks mix of previous single Aima. It’s a wiggly modular fun-fest that showcases his endless evolutionary bloom as a super-producer.

Growing Bin burst into 2018 with a bang, crash and symbol splash, uniting a premier pair of per- cussion obsessives for a supernatural mission into the heart of the rhythm.
Dressed in the pitch black of Düsseldorf stands Wolf Müller, master of the tropical drums and se- ven time Salon Des Amateur breakdance champion. Repping Cologne and Berlin is Niklas Wandt, Germany’s funkiest drummer and a mixed musical artist as adept in experimental jazz as demen- ted Euro dance. Standing toe to toe in a no holds barred, no drum unstruck groove contest, these two titans will make you swing your pants like a Crash Bandicoot victory dance...so stretch out and step in to ‚Instrumentalmusik von der Mitte der World‘.
Taking to their task with the joyful abandon of two big kids getting creative with the Kindergar- ten music tray, Müller & Wandt marry dripping electronics, Froesean pads and rubber-limbed basslines with tribal polyrhythms, C2 claps and Indonesian shakers - and that‘s only on the A1. Comprising of three trance-inducing epics, a handful of medium-sized movers and a couple of freeform interludes, this dynamic double pack could almost pass as a lost Library masterpiece; but our mind guides go Furthur, fusing esoteric funk and free-jazz freak-out a truly transportive experience. Prepare to enter a world of techno totems and neon skulls, shades of Yello and excel- lent birds. Within these grooves lies a transdimensional pathway between the Temple of Doom, the Twilight Zone and De Palma‘s Paradise, brought to life in a shamanic rite.
Forget the healing frequencies of Growing Bin‘s ambient outings, this time we‘re dancing for mental health.

Alma Negra - Kabaré (Bambounou Remix)

For Breathing Room’s sophomore release, the Toronto based label look to Swiss multi-instrumentalist Bixi to supply the goods. The German producer exudes warm and tropical vibes across the five track vinyl release entitled ‘Aquarius’. Rich in deft live instrumentation and clever sample work, an organic feel flutters through each track with bubbling water, forest-inspired atmosphere, ethnic percussion and gentle handclaps the order of the day. Once again the release is presented with beautiful artwork by 3D and visual artist Maks Pihs. Definitely a label to keep an eye on.

Fresh collab from Multi Culti’s Thomas Von Party and Calypso’s Iñigo Vontier — SALSA FINGERS debut on Pigmalião’s ‘I Lost My Poncho In Istanbul’ with two downtempo chuggers. 
Coco Fantasma takes its name from the forthcoming coconut and ghost pepper salsa that the Canadian-Mexican duo have cooked up. For real. Mouth harp, tribal drumming, and a haunted flute hook make for a low-key floor-filler for the slow-mo house DJs and global neo-shamanic cult builders alike.
Amor Modular takes the familiar Cumbia groove into new territory with a modular synth riff, tight Latina voices take the heat up to 11 and once again, the Salsito’s trademark flute hook brings a perfectly dosed hit of folklorica.

 "In 2015 Superpitcher was invited to go on a safari in South Africa.  He stayed at the breathtaking Tanda Tula camp in Timbavati adjacent to the Kruger National Park.

Apart from being stunned by the untouched nature of the area, he was also blown away one evening by a performance of the Tanda Tula staff choir. He was so touched by their folk songs and beautiful Shangaan language that he decided to record and produce a CD for them to sell in the camp's shop, free of charge with all proceeds going to the choir members.  This recording has since enabled guests from around the world to take the captivating voices of the Tanda Tula Choir home with them.

Not much later, Superpitcher approached Autonomous Africa with the idea of us putting out a remix EP.  It contains four very different but somehow complementary remixes from Superpitcher, LAPS, Red Axes and Esa.

All profits from this release will be split between Tanda Tula Choir and the International Library of African Music. Founded by ethnomusicologist Hugh Tracey in 1954, ILAM is an an organisation dedicated to the preservation and study of African music.”
