We are pleased to welcome Enzo Leep for his first release on our label. "Lirios" has a definite breakbeat feel to it, with frantic, nervous, glitchy grooves and deep-house keys evolving delicately throughout ten hypnotic minutes. "Sangre y fuego" provides a constant harmonic tension all-along, with a solid sub bassline and psychedelic female vocal snippets surprising the listener every now and then for an overall clever mental piece. Finally, Invade Records Ilario Liburni treats us to a more efficient energetic take on "Sangre y fuego", with a richer arrangement and more "straight-to-the-point" approach.

An outlet founded originally to release his own productions across the house and techno sphere, Butane’s home imprint Extrasketch now houses an extensive body of work from the San Francisco-based talent.  The catalog has heretofore displayed the expansive depth and range of his solo musical stylings across the electronic spectrum as it enters its third year. Having now recently welcomed longtime friend Andras Toth as the first guest collaborator on the label, we see Butane continue to open the label to collaborative efforts here as he pairs up with regular studio partner Riko Forinson following their releases on Deeperfect, Little Helpers, SCI+TEC, Lapsus, and Moan.  With this, the duo reveals a selection of darker collaborative club cuts in the form of ‘Equilibrium’. 

A far-reaching package containing eight tracks, ‘Equilibrium’ offers up Butane and Riko’s most extensive body of work to date; one which is impressive throughout in its diversity of atmospheres.  From the blossoming, emotive sequences of the opening piece ‘The Sad Song’, through the more melodic territories found in ‘Riffraff’ and ‘Get Into My Groove’, the release uncovers a collection of works that span both genres and moods, while focusing on the overarching Extrasketch ethos of delivering functional and quality club records.  ‘Primadonna’ offers a hooky, driving tech house workout with a damaging bassline.  ‘Anxiety’ strips things back to focus on delicate melodies, hazy atmospherics, and somber psychedelic reflection.  ‘All In My Head’ incorporates Butane’s trademark subversive, tripped-out vocals, before the duo wraps up the EP with the slick floating textures of ‘Tripping’ and the sparse, infectiously appropriate closer ‘Inside’.  Butane & Riko Forinson in fine form indeed.

We are happy to present the first EP from Arkady Antsyrev on Bondage-Music, on remix duties we have David Jach and label resident Dust Yard. Arkady Antsyrev is a talented and promising sound producer. In the atmosphere of works this sound producer have а distinction from others artists. The presence of his sound evolved drum tracks, live instruments (and solo), as well as synthesizers, which were used in the distant 80s and 70s, opening a new and modern sound, which is by far the most relevant and appropriate for sound in the underground industry.

Following his beautiful ‘Detroit Sunrise’ EP on the label last year, the inimitable Sascha Dive returns to Bondage Music once again for another deep frequency encounter.

The safe word is bass as Sascha picks up where he left us with two ‘Dub Chronicles’ tracks on the previous release. Now comes the third; a lavish, unhurried exploration ‘Dub Chronicles 3’ lights the fire with hazy, hypnotic charm and a spoken word well known to those familiar with the foundations.

What follows is a trip that grows in intensity and emotions. ‘Cornerstone’ is a beautiful 11pm track; fleet of foot in the kick department and arms aloft in the vibe department. Total elevation. ‘Ancient Tribal Drums’, meanwhile, takes us much deeper into the night. That rolling conga line will tie you up just the way Bondage likes it while the dubby echoes provide sense-tingling relief… Before the finale takes us to even dreamier heights. Living up to its name, ‘It’s A Groove’ brings the elements of the whole EP together; the dubby hypnosis, the warm, driving beats and that unique sense that you’re not quite tied into any reality while Sascha plays.
