Another yearly playlist I made for personal use. Listen to all the tracks I put out during 2021! Maybe not the fastest year, but definitely an iconic one, judging from how people received what I put out back then.

Fantasyck ~ 2021

Asgore, or 'Pops' as he would like you to call him is the ruins caretaker here but still lives with the guilt of having taken the lives of humans just like original UT. He resigned as King and is almost comically dad-like here, making you play baseball with him and attempting to bond with Frisk in TV dad-like ways. The fight with him is more of a test to see if you have the will and power to survive the underground on your own as he is willing to let you go on.

A demake of Void Termina's fourth theme, Hope of Birth, from Kirby: Star Allies. I included the MIDI I created for it below this, since I see that most people who remix the song have trouble transcribing parts of the backing, such as the electric piano and the guitar, and I figure I might as well throw them a bone. It might still have some inaccuracies, but it's as close as I could get it by ear.

This swapped take on Alphys as the royal guard has her constantly pushing herself to be brutal to humans and nothing more. Waterfall is rigged with mechanical traps and contraptions meant to hinder Frisk's journey as Alphys initially chickens out on confronting the player. Albeit trying to be as brash as Undyne, her geeky, worrisome side always shines through and after some convincing Frisk is able to get through to her and hang out.

Lore/Plot:
This take on Dusttale entails a different situation where Flowey is the one to initially take action and wipe out monsterkind before the human can. He forces Sans into his plan by saying he won't get to see Papyrus unless Sans aids his vision of defeating the human his own way. Sans isn't made to kill, but help Flowey to override the DT extractor, use Asgore's subsisting soul to power it as a living vessel and harness it as his own via his vines.
Here, during the waterfall encounter Flowey leads you on by aiding and first of all kills monster kid before Undyne arrives. You can use him as the yellow soul's peashooter to do extra damage against Undyne, right as she's on her last sliver of health Flowey steals the kill and reveals he knows Frisk isn't Chara this time around.

[Z!Dusttale] Waterfall Encounter

Plot synopsis:
This take on Dusttale entails a different situation where Flowey is the one to initially take action and wipe out monsterkind before the human can. Sans isn't made to kill, but help Flowey to override the DT extractor, use Asgore's subsisting soul to power it as a living vessel and harness it as his own via his vines.
Here during the judgement hall encounter, things are a lot different with the DT extractor now relocated by Flowey for the occasion. Flowey and Sans now team up to strike you down. Sans doesn't have any fancy moves here beyond the usual, but is able to attack the renovated DT extractor to create a massive karma fueled blast against you. Once sans goes down, does his usual dodge shtick and gets stabbed by Chara, Flowey takes the kill once more which makes the DT extractor overheat due to not being able to handle being past LV 20.

Deltarune: Yet Darker is a self-insert Deltarune AU based off my life that takes place far away from Hometown. This AU is based around taking aspects of me and my friend's lives and making fleshed-out dark world concepts. This first chapter (even though they don't exist in much of a particular order) accounts for my experience with my coworkers at "The Old Spaghetti Factory", with three protagonists: I, in a more fantastical rendition of the classy, dapper restaurant trying to figure out just what the HELL is going on. Yes, further chapters will exist later along the line, some shorter, some way longer. Believe it or not I have a lot of material to work with for my workplace. 

Disclaimers: The logic behind the dark worlds is the same down to the lore, so no major character appearances will occur, G. will still be an omniscient, vague force. No monsters will appear, and there won't be a weird route as that implies this sideline story could impact Deltarune's events. Also no, each chapter will not receive a unique "Rude Buster." This one is crafted to fit every single theoretical chapter we make.

This is the shop theme for the first chapter of my self-insert Deltarune AU that takes place far away from Hometown at my workplace, "The Old Spaghetti Factory" 
The shopkeeper here represents a mix of all the girls that work at the bar/bar register, their face replaced by a static screen. They seem to be well-versed in things darker, yet darker.

In all seriousness, though, I should give some backstory. This cover is actually based off of a dream that my friend, Painzilla, had, where Spamton NEO's fight had some differences - like an attack where he takes his shades off and uses them to obscure the bullet box, an option to pirouette to spare him quicker at the cost of enraging him, and a version of BIG SHOT that had extra sound effects and elements of TWR. Hence, this remix! 

Aside from those extra Jevil elements, the main inspirations for the instrumentation were Mario Kart 64, later Mega Man games, and Deltarune itself. I thought the first two especially would fit the concept of a high-octane rollercoaster battle with a killer robot. It might be one of my most complicated remixes yet in terms of mixing, automation, and so on (Though, a good third of that was setting up the pitch-bends for the JV-1080 guitars, lol).

Q: What VSTs do you usually use?
A: I usually stick to Sound Canvas VA, JV-1080, and of course Fruity Soundfont Player, from most to least preferred.

Q: Can I use your works in my game/video/etc.?
A: Sure, as long as you ask me beforehand and give me credit for it. I’d prefer for my Twister music to not be used in other games as of now, but if you wanna use them as background music for a video or something, be my guest.

Q: Can you give me an .FLP/MIDI/etc.?
A: Maybe? I probably would if you asked me politely enough, honestly.
