Introducing the debut release from newly born Underspun imprint - UNDS001 a tight-knit VA based on the sounds of ethereal Italo and euphoric 80’s Disco.
With each artist expressing their own unique take on the ever-popular Italo sound, the VA offers bright, enthusiastic Dance Music, mixed with metallic, spaced-out beats.
Perhaps the only exception to the Italian orientation of this album is our pick of progressive house 'Kultūra' track from London-based producer De La Phoenix, co-founder of ThisIsABanger.com, a music library archive of tracks both old and new that are classified as being highest tier. Along that, he holds monthly residencies at Balamii and Threads Radio stations. Throughout his time, he has hosted guest mixes from DJs hailing from Australia, Germany and Russia (among others). The title of the track translates as 'culture' in Lithuanian. This epitomizes what the words of Tiga are trying to convey within the breakdown; that the dance community has always been a form of culture and expression. While the last 12 months have been a challenge, the track serves as a reminder of who we as the underground community truly are and represent.
