Four months had passed since Etienne Rambert had been acquitted at the Cahors Assizes, and the world was beginning to forget the Beaulieu tragedy as it had already almost forgotten the mysterious murder of Lord Beltham. Juve alone did not allow his daily occupation to put the two cases out of his mind. True, he had ceased to make any direct enquiries, and gave no sign that he still had any interest in those crimes; but the detective knew very well that in both of them he had to contend with no ordinary murderer and he was content to remain in the shadow, waiting and watching, in seeming inactivity, for some slip which should betray the person or persons who had perpetrated two of the most puzzling murders that he had ever had to deal with. It was the end of June, and Paris was beginning to empty. But the spring had been late and cold that year, and although it was within a couple of days of July society had lingered on in the capital; luxuriously appointed carriages still swept along the Champs Elysées when the audiences poured out of theatres and concert rooms, and fashionably attired people still thronged the broad pavements and gathered before the brilliantly lighted cafés on the Rond-Point; even at that late hour the Champs Elysées were as animated as in the busiest hours of the day. At the Royal Palace Hotel the greatest animation prevailed. The entire staff was hurrying about the vast entrance halls and the palatial rooms on the ground floor; for it was the hour when the guests of the Royal Palace Hotel were returning from their evening's amusements, and the spacious vestibules of the immense hotel were crowded with men in evening dress, young fellows in dinner jackets, and women in low-cut gowns.

Just someone who has a love for Breaks (almost all breaks but specifically Florida and Louisiana Breaks and Vocal Breaks)...Electro...Trance...Drum&Bass...Dub (the original Dub that was around the Tampa scene from the 90's and early 2000's...not the new Dub that these kids think is the shit)...Trip-Hop...E-Hop...and a few others. Was HEAVILY involved (to put it lightly...no pun intended but pun intended) in the Tampa/Orlando scene from the late 80's thru around 2007 or so...until the scene changed or was forced to change...but this shit is in my blood!!! I guess like they say...Blood in...Blood out!!! Had an iconic and well known house in South Tampa that was called "The House On Stilts"...it was the only house in the subdivision that was up on stilts like a beach house. And if you were in the scene...odds are you've swung thru at some point for one or more of the parties...Lol!!! If so...hit me up and tell me about it...I love hearing the stories because MAN O' FUCKING MAN...THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!! Best times of my life...and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat...I mean breakbeat!!!

Praised by absurdist painter set, film maker Jean Cocteau and novelist Umberto Eco. A sadistic killer and master of men, the character was thrust upon the world in 1911. The star of numerous novels, Fantomas employs similar techniques to supervillains of Marvel Comics to come many years later. A combination of Fu Manchu and James Bond, he is a master of disguise and appears to be timeless.
