Dubsworth is a multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, producer and record label owner based in the LA area. Known for his blazing stage presence and relentless creative output, Dubsworth has gone far and beyond his solo act origins in 2007 to collaborating with musicians and producers around the world. Stretching across Dub, Funk, EDM, Rock, Reggae, Ambient, Disco, Dubstep, DnB and Jazz, Dubsworth is true chameleon of music. His genre bending sensibilities seamlessly fuse different styles together with a unique flavor often defined by a blend of organic instruments with modern electronic production. After finishing at Berklee College of Music on electric bass, Dubsworth dove into his production career in San Francisco where he quickly became known as one of the first Dubstep producers in the world to ever play live instruments as part of the genre. His musical intuition immediately grabbed the attention of the electronic producers who were eager to work together combining their production acumen with Dubsworth's compositional skills. Beyond just DJing, Dubsworth has always pushed the boundaries of electronic genres and scenes, from playing with full bands on a packed dancefloor to sneaking his bass guitar into DJ booths. He co-founded Dubs Alive Records, a label focused on the wide range of Dubstep and Dub influenced music with over 30 releases. His band The Weapons has collaborated with heavyweight Reggae vocalists like Jahdan Blakkamore, Ranking Joe, MC ZULU and Black Shakespeare. In early 2012, Dubsworth's tune he co-produced with Antiserum "Droid Prom" was featured on an episode of CSI Miami. His many collaborations as a musician, co-producer and remixer include artists such as Golden Gate, Antiserum, Kush Arora, Sizzla, Lukino, OSC, and DZ. In 2023 Dubsworth surprised the world with his first full length album Highly Likely, a psychedelic minimal journey where every single sound includingdrums was played live on bass guitar. Throughout the years, Dubsworth has performed alongside many of the top players in the bass music world and beyond including Eprom, Diplo, Starkey, Rusko, Dead Prez, Tycho, Caspa, Skream, Benga, MRK-1, RSD, Tinie Tempah, Matty G, Eskmo, Borgore, Plastician, 6BLOC, N-Type, Kromestar and Capleton. He has also performed live instruments on stage with Fred Wesley, John Medeski, DJ Logic, KJ Sawka and Jazzsteppa.
