EDX Unveils His "Miami Sunset" Remix of Spada's "Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun)"

EDX announces his "Miami Sunset" remix of Spada’s “Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun)” due out on Monday, July 6th via Ego Music.  With his remix of Sam Feldt’s “Show Me Love” still riding high on the Beatport charts, and garnering even more support as the fifth most Shazam-ed track of this Ibiza season, EDX returns with some serious wind behind his sails for his Ego Music debut.

EDX is a multi-faceted artist, and his numerous production styles shine through in his newest effort. By layering together a piano-driven melody with a deep bass line and uplifting synth arrangements, EDX manages to create a remix of “Catchfire” that walks a fine line between punchy club construction and summertime anthem, finding a perfect middle ground.

Coming off of performances at EDC Las Vegas and Paradiso, EDX looks to continue his steady rise to the top of the totem pole with quality release after quality release, and a rigorous touring schedule that has him playing high profile nightclubs, and major festivals around the globe on his ongoing “Want You” tour. In the past six months alone, EDX has a Beatport chart-topper to his name with his remix of Sons of Maria and Nora en Pure’s “Uruguay,” and he isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. John Soulacybin's been humbly raising the bar on sound design dance music with every release.  Since our discovery of Soulacybin's music we've appreciated his laser like focus and attention to detail.  His new album with Gravitas Records entitled "Stazi" is a culmination of years of hard work and pure intent. These tracks represent what we believe to be the sound Soulacybin has been working towards since he began with this project. John is a true musicians producer. His percussion background is heard clearly through the hypnotic and technical rhythms present in his music. With an array of sonic influences, Soulacybin uses recognizable sounds to create calming nostalgia among a tidal wave of glitched novelty. Organic instruments drenched in "Dub" delays and reverb tails create a psychotropic auditory landscape for the listener. A production style developed by studio engineering demigods King Tubby and Lee "Scratch" Perry, modernized and encoded with a modern gospel of the present day. Bernays Propaganda from Skopje, Macedonia, has already written some interesting chapters in contemporary history of DIY alternative music on Balkans. They reached an iconic status in the country and abroad, especially in the DIY communities and is one of the few bands coming from the Balkans that tour extensively, having been on several European tours, one U.S. tour and one across Russia, Ukraine and Belarus so far. The raw energy and tight sound earned them a reputation of a must-see act. With their four studio albums and hundreds of concerts they are recognized as one of the leading alternative bands in ex-Yugoslavia. Bernays Propaganda are driven by an infallible kick and groovy bass lines, upon which layers of noisy and disharmonic guitar chords make room for a remarkable female voice, shouting socially engaged lyrics. Dance, clap, sing and celebrate civil disobedience, human rights and freedom.
