Sharing a selection of music that has been put together by Lord Of The Isles is something we are beyond excited for. To showcase his perception of Far Blue, he has compiled a mix that conveys a limitless feeling like a far off horizon. Although Lord Of The Isles is an inspiring producer, he decided to take a different approach. 'Mirage Mountains' contains none of his own productions, but he has selected beautiful tracks from other talented artists only such as John Hopkins, Mary Yalex and Our Lady Of The Flowers.

"A limitless far off horizon with texture and noise. A distorted haze of the farthest away places. Making them seem almost imaginary."

Stepping up to contribute IA MIX 383, Alex Albrecht (@melquiadesmusic) delivers a live set from the Natural Order festival in the Australian state of Victoria. Based around improvised, unreleased solo works, this is a gorgeous piece of ambient-leaning electronica. The next interpretation of Far Blue has been put together by Ben Kaczor. We have admired Ben's music for a long time now, so we're excited to be able to share his peception here. His music, a blend of atmospheric techno, vibrant house and cinematic soundscapes, inspires both introspective reflection and creative expression. His mix is a thoughtful selection of tracks that reflect his feelings when going with what feels right, instead of overthinking a process.

"This is the first mix I recorded in my new little flat, which is close to a beautiful wild garden. It's a one-take recording, which is always the magic key for me. I love to be in the moment and try not to overthink the process. thats why "no meaning, but feeling" is often important for me. You can hear some unreleased tunes by friends and records I bought recently during my travels. I found lots of good records at Yoyaku in Paris, Inverted Audio in London, Remoto Records in Hamburg and my favorite local shop, Plattphon Records in Basel."

We are very excited to share Theef’s perception of Far Blue with you today. After years of work on these productions, he has now compiled an almost 3 hour long mix of his original and unreleased works.

‘Temporal Futures’ drifts through the shadows of time, weaving together fleeting moments of light and darkness. Each track is a glimpse into distant dreamscapes—some soft and ethereal, others pulsing with mystery and edge. From the depths of ambient oceans to the glow of cosmic dancefloors, Temporal Futures unfolds like a journey across forgotten timelines and fictional realities.

“This mixtape came to life while I was back on my island, Crete—a place where time feels slower, yet the landscape constantly shifts around you. The sound of the sea, the wind across the mountains, and the endless open skies seeped into the process. Crete's nature has a way of blending brightness with a sense of the unknown, so I tried to reflect that duality in the music. Some tracks echo the stillness of quiet nights by the water, while others capture the pulse of walking through old city streets or the wildness of the island’s more quiet and forgotten corners.”
