‘Kaala Dil’, as one may infer, represents everyone who has had an epiphany that in a world
full of nefarious souls, love is ephemeral. It is a story of hoping against hope, a tug of war
between heart and mind. The heart wants to give love a chance but the mind (which has seen
how this world functions) is meticulous to deduce that it may never happen.

It may also represent souls who believe that their heart should be guarded at all costs, the
only way to protect one’s heart and ethereal soul is to blend in with the world which is a dark
place to live in. To carry a dark and egocentric heart in order to protect oneself from others
and not fade into the oblivion.
