After some remixes there is now a first new song in the new year. I had to get inspiration from Cecilia again and gladly took up her open collab offers again. "We are one" is a wonderful and important message, especially in these crazy times, and the basis for peaceful and respectful coexistence. A few subtle guitar sounds and hypnotic synth sounds are the soundscape for this message.

As a life-long Prog Rock fan I'd originally planned to create a radio station called "Ridiculous FM" for Grand Theft Auto 2 - broadcasting "Regressive Rock" to the citizens of Liberty City around the clock. 

It didn't happen for various reasons, but ever since then, during late night jam sessions (and the occasional lunchtime one too) with my muso friends, I've enjoyed wondering what my Prog Rock track for Ridiculous FM might have sounded like if I'd actually gone through with it. Eventually it became a bit of an in-joke my friends would use to rip the piss out me. Any time I played them something new I'd written they'd invariably ask if I was planning to use it as part of my Prog Rock epic - secure in the knowledge it was never, *EVER* going to happen. 

Almost...

Eventually I decided it was an itch I just had to scratch. So here it is, 15 years late (which surely must be some sort of record for missing deadlines, even by DMA Design's impressive standards), I give you GTA2's missing Prog Rock track "YTZ" by the band Aori. 

To paraphrase Derek Smalls, I hope it lends a more 'sophisticated' perspective to your Kill Frenzies :-)

FEEDBACK FAMILY: REPOSTS no longer work and LIKES make no difference whatsoever; ONLY positive FEEDBACK makes a difference, a BIG difference. Feedback makes your account more VISIBLE so it brings MORE TRAFFIC, MORE LISTENERS—it also serves as GENUINE HYPE, visitors see the amount of feedback you receive and that arouses their curiosity to listen, and when they listen, seeing all that genuine hype influences the way they listen—they hear your music through POSITIVE EARS. 

The ABSENCE of feedback has the reverse psychological effect, it KILLS CURIOSITY, and those who do listen, listen with NEGATIVE EARS. Potential listeners rarely find your page in the first place because the LACK OF FEEDBACK means your music posts don’t appear in THE FEED, quickly disappearing from view. The music of those who DO enjoy feedback REMAINS in the feed, visible to viewers, and the visibility of their latest post is far greater than those who don’t receive feedback.

MUSICIANS THAT HAVE A DIFFERENT ATTITUDE TO THE REST, TEND TO MAKE MUSIC THAT IS DIFFERENT TO THE REST!
It is common practice for musicians to click the like button on #Soundcloud without ever listening to the tune! There is no proof it was listened to, so it's impossible to know who genuinely likes a track! Only actual #feedback proves it's been heard!

I use to follow musicians back that clicked the like button, but it becomes very obvious that only 10% actually listen, when you receive five times as many likes as listens. This has made me extremely wary about being the first to leave feedback, and that kind of wariness spreads like wildfire!

Because of this, I only follow musicians back that leave feedback, or share one of my posts; and I will only leave feedback once if the favor isn't returned. it is better to keep searching for musicians who have enough #class and #humility to return the #respect!

#Musicians that have those qualities clearly have depth, creating tunes for the love of it, rather than simple to fuel their own ego, and fatten their bank accounts!
