Being fairly old, I struggle to hold on to any illusions. But (especially around young people) I try not to let it show too much. This work (the music, the atmosphere, the lyrics) is absolutely beautiful.

Brilliant work Conny - inception, composition, recording, arrangement, production, lyrical foundation and mastering.  It was an honour to pop the cherry on the top of this masterpiece of yours.

Not just a beautiful a performance, but brilliant production also as you mirror Peter's chant to his spoken words.  Your backing track is deeply sympathetic to the subject and beautiful in how you arranged it with moving guitar phrases that accent the flow. The song seems to me a present warning, but cast as a future lament if the warnings are not heeded.  A substantial work gentlemen.

Could it really be humanity's seriously thought-out plan that, when we tore down the Berlin Wall a few years ago, we are now building new walls of barbed wire and weapons between each other. Both between countries, and between us humans?.......So.... how high do you want them?.....

A song for all the children of the world, the only real capital we have for a future humanity, suffering the torments of hell, in a world of destruction and death, filled with shattered illusions and dreams..........How the hell can we behave like this towards each other, and above all towards the children of the world?.......Hmmmmm.
