A FarOut Halloween

This sound piece is the completed version of my first project for FND 112 Experimental Audio. What my intention is to create a sense of satire which expresses the comparison and contrast between the mother nature and modern human society. The whole piece contains three sections, horses vs cars, farm animals vs restaurant and forest vs battlefield. Honestly, the three sections and the subjects that each section includes are actually irrelevant to each other; however, the only connection which interlaces all the activities together is the various similarities of sound. For example, the sound of F1 race car's engine is similar to the sound of horse‘s whinny, the burp sound is close to the frog's croak, and the buzz of bees and the sound of helicopter's screw propeller are also similar in the same frequency, etc. The whole soundtrack presents an imaginary montage which is based on similarities of the sounds from natural environment and human social activities. The series of events is  like how my brain functions and connects things when I think of nature and modern society. I hope the nonsense and the ridiculousness from this piece can not only make people laugh but also make people rethink about the essence the reality which we've been living in with a different perspective.
