Unser 10. Jubiläums-Spacecast kommt von unserem Mitgründer und Resident @lu_ko (LUKO), der vor zwei Jahren nach Berlin gezogen ist und das Garbicz Festival mitveranstaltet hat. Der Einfluss der Hauptstadt ist in seiner Musik nicht zu überhören.

Er hat für uns ein Paar Fragen beantwortet:

1. Wie ist dein Künstlername entstanden? 
Es ist ziemlich unspektakulär. Die ersten zwei Buchstaben meines Vornamens und die letzten zwei Buchstaben meines Nachnamens.

2. Seit wann legst du auf? 
Oh, das fühlt sich an wie eine Ewigkeit. Es sind auf jeden Fall über 20 Jahre. Aber ich muss erwähnen, dass ich mich ca. 4 Jahre komplett aus der Szene zurückgezogen habe. Erst durch die Arbeit beim Garbicz Festival ist die Leidenschaft fürs Auflegen zurückgekehrt.

3. Lieblingsclub? 
Da gibt es einige, aber seit 2 Jahren und durch meine Arbeit ist der Kater Blau in Berlin zu meinem zweiten Wohnzimmer geworden.

4. Lieblingszeit? 
Auch nicht so einfach zu beantworten. Es kommt nämlich darauf an, ob im Club oder draußen und in welcher Stadt. Aber am wohlsten fühle ich mich bei der Afterhour.

5. Lieblingsfarbe? 
Blau, Rot.

6. Lieblingsessen? 
Da ich ein absolut leidenschaftlicher Esser bin, kann ich mich hier nicht festlegen: Italienisch, Asiatisch, Türkisch, Polnisch.

7. Lieblingsplanet? 
Natürlich der Disco-Planet.

8. Bestes Erlebnis beim Auflegen? 
Wenn die Platten einfach so in die Hände fallen, ohne langes Suchen...

9. Schlechtestes Erlebnis beim Auflegen? 
Wenn der Veranstalter die Party beenden möchte.

Lafari in der ZAHARA.

I was asked from my friends to play the warm up for 
The Lafari takeover at the new club @fi in my hometown cologne.

WOW! What a nice and special experience I will never forget in my life, playing my first club gig in this setting.

Celebrating my birthday with this gift, surrounded by all my beautiful and supporting friends.
I feel so much blessing in creating a space of joy and love together. It is very special to me.
Seeing my friends dancing together and feeling they are all so happy for me lifted me so much up.

This new path of my life unfolds in ways I could have never imagined.
I gave all my passion and love for music into the preparation of the set to create 
An groovy dance into the night full of joy! 
Allowing myself to explore new styles and not limiting myself in playing downtempo, 
I found my new love for deep house and midtempo.
To see how my imagination of how the music will create a vibe getting reality on the dancefloor
Makes me just happy and trust in myself.

It was a colorful circus of energies inside me - easiness, joy, self-confidence and flow to tension, excitement and 
Moments of insecurity when something went „wrong“.
I love how I drop totally into my presence and concentration while mixing music together.
i started and closed the set with a track from Dürerstuben, my favorite artists when i startet raving 13 years ago.

I FELT SO LOVED AFTER THIS NIGHT.

Thank you to everybody who danced and showed up at 11 pm in a club.
