Biography:
Nu Zau is one of the leading producers and dj's that have come out of Romania's electronic scene in the past few years.

Inspired by already well established names such as Ricardo Villalobos, Rhadoo, Thomas Melchior and many others,he's grown into a romanian household name in a very short year span.

Dark, percussive, funky and quirky would be the best way to describe his sound, already having releases on various labels, he's signed EP's, individual tracks and remixes on labels such as Fear of flying, Aeternum Music, Memoria Recordings .

In time a new label vinyl project is created by the name of Uvar, which he co-runs with fellow romanian Sepp.

His productions have gained world wide recognition - Raresh, Rhadoo, Ricardo Villalobos, Petre Inspirescu, Fumiya Tanaka, Onur Ozer, Bill Patrick are only a few of the best dj's that can be heard playing his tracks.

As a DJ he seemlessly blends through oldschool records and new wave productions alike, crossing borders musically and inspiring people wherever he plays, be it in romanian clubs , or beyond romanian borders such as: Output (New York), Stereobar (Montreal), Sankeys (Ibiza), Gipsy (Moscow), Origami (Tokyo), Spybar (Chicago), Bloc (Barcelona), The Block (Tel Aviv), Club der visionaire (Berlin), Paradigm (Groningen, NL), Underground (Ibiza), Crucifix Lane (London, UK), FUSE (Brussels), Rodnya (Moscow), Treehouse (Miami), Flash (Washington DC), Facktura(Odessa,Ukraine), Club Rex (Paris, FR) and many more

✍️ Der Mensch hat zu seinem Geburtsort eine natürlich starke Verbindung. Land und Leute wirken prägend, ebenso die lokal gesammelten Erfahrungen und Erinnerungen. Trotz dieser Bindungen ist es wichtig, sich irgendwann loszulösen und sich seine eigene Heimat zu suchen. So ein Umzug fällt nicht unbedingt leicht. Man verlässt das wohlvertraute und macht sich auf in unbekanntes Terrain. Freunde und Familie leben fortan weit entfernt und man braucht ein Weilchen, um sich in der neuen Umgebung zurechtzufinden. Doch mit der Zeit lebt man sich ein und aus Fremd wird wieder vertraut. So einfach kann es sein, wenn man den Mut zur Veränderung aufbringt. 

🎵 Der heutige Podcast stammt aus der Feder von Gewagt & Maßgeschneidert. Nach einem experimentellen Einstieg nimmt das Set einen angenehm treibenden Charakter an. Über die gesamte Laufzeit handelt es sich eher um ein gemächliches Exemplar der Mixingkultur. Der ideale Sound für lange Autofahrten, Afterhours oder zum einkuscheln an einem stürmisch Sommernachmittag.

Mystic Cast #19 | Käpt'n 12 & Düsentrieb

Here it finally is, the recording of our Liveset at Fusion at the beautiful and infamous Tanzwüste stage. All tracks are produced, mixed and mastered by Kon Faber, including a collaboration with Iorie.

The moment, when the first beat dropped, was an incredible release of energy from everyone who was there. And it did not stop until the last note. Playing at Fusion, at this floor, where we were standing so many hours as dancers, is such a beautiful gift. We could not be more grateful to have experienced this as Kon Faber on stage, sharing all the sounds we created and produced in our studio in Berlin. The preparation meant a lot of sweat and tears, with the last track produced just one week before but it was definitely worth it.

Moreover, this gig was so emotional because everyone around us has shown so much appreciation and love. So many of our friends came by, our friend and studio Jazz Saxophone player, Marius joined us on stage, and @pauli-pocket, @foolik were the most considerate and supportive Stage Managers.

Thanks to Südpol for envisioning us at Tanzwüste and making this possible.
