Deadbeat and Om Unit combine forces to explore their shared love of dubbed-out electronics.

Starting a thread from Montreal to Bristol, this mini LP is rooted in the tradition of dub and techno, but with tinges of roots and acid as well as the etheric ambience they are both known for.

Root, Stalk, Leaf and Bloom is contemplative but heartfelt, with a sense of momentum and positive purpose.

FridaY is a Berlin-based artist, DJ and radio host. Her musical influences range from UK bass and rave culture to experimental electronic music and post punk. She is a co-founder of a genre-less mix series and platform FOAD and works for London-based THREADS radio where she has a monthly show called Kranespotting and regularly hosts live streams representing FOAD and other artists in collaboration with Catalyst Music, Etikett Radio and Field Conspiracy.

Вы, наверное, уже успели забыть (а может просто не знали), но у этого канала есть своя «серия миксов». Изначально задумывалось, что акцент там будет на не самом танцпольном звуке, но в этот раз получилось совсем запутанно: с одной стороны 100 bpm сложно назвать очень популярной скоростью для современной электронной музыки, а с другой я уже довольно давно и с удовольствием играю многие из этих треков на тусах и, мне кажется, что по-настоящему они раскрываются как раз на больших саундсистемах. 

Если вы пишите подобный стафф (не обязательно 100 bpm, а в целом экспериментальный саунд с упором на интересный ритм и тяжелый бас), то присылайте свои треки, буду рад поддержать отечественный продакшн. Все контакты есть в описании канала.
