Bring the fanfares, Fast Castle number one has landed: We are launching into the world of wax with “Unique Technologies” – a collection of five bass-heavy, versatile and trip-ready tracks.

Much of Fast Castle is still shrouded in pixelated darkness. This first release offers a glimpse on what this weird-world might shed light on next: From polyrhythmic bass & drum flexing, to dubstep-not-dubstep exercises in sound system science and past-midnight gaze music, our map is expansive and full of surprises.

The essence of countless hours spent soul searching & synapse twisting in the confines of our studio shed in Berlin’s outer ring territories, „Unique Technologies“ is the first building block of our humble castle. Cut to thick rotating discs for maximum bass range response and housed in a printed sleeve, FC01 is strictly limited to two hundred copies. Raiders presents Queens of Club: a two-part VA celebrating the established and up-and-coming women and non-binary producers of Ghetto House, Electro, Footwork & Breakbeat. 

Astral Booty is the otherworldly, funky, left-field side of Queens of Club. 
The recurring theme is dreaminess, but don't let that lull you into a false sense of security as these tracks still slap, and will go to town on your subwoofer! 
Cute Breaks, Ghetto Techno and Playful Hardcore are just a few buzzwords that come to mind, but don’t quite do justice to the extreme diversity of sounds within.

The title pays homage to the seminal "Queens of Baltimore Club", a highly sought-after LP from various legendary female Bmore artists (like Kotton the Cutie and Mz. Thang) compiled by DJ Technics in 2001. Almost two decades later and the club scene is still a hostile environment for marginalised groups and this compilation aims to address that. Queens of Club is by women/non-binary people, right down to the mastering engineer and the artwork designers, and intended for everyone who likes to shake their ass at high speed!
