With over a decade of experience under her belt, Monster is now rightfully taking her place among Europe's best DJs. Showcasing her omnivorous taste for euphoric and fun music, Monster can be heard playing techno, house, electro, acid, old-school trance, breaks, and everything in between, usually championing producers from her local Polish scene.

Her career started in the late 00’s at Rozbrat, an anarchist squat and social centre in Poznań, Poland. That's where she started throwing Squat The Electricity nights, working tightly with the local scene, popularising electronic music among activists and activism among electronic music fans. Today, she's a member of Oramics, a Polish platform supporting women, non-binary and queer people in electronic music. Their actions came to worldwide attention thanks to the Total Solidarity compilation.

About the mix:
"The mix showcases some of the fast and modern, mostly 4x4 tracks that I've been enjoying recently as well as some broken beat intermissions. It's perfect for the ending of Venus and Mercury retrogrades that we can now all recover from."

Viennese DJ/Producer Alpha Tracks is best-known as a fleet-footed champion for contemporary neo-trance. Where others to the north of the genre’s beginnings are breathing new life into the musical style, Felix Benedikt holds down the fort in the east, deriving his intrinsic link to its forms from the early millennium record-digging. With releases on imprints like Blue Hour, Ute.Rec., his very own Morbid and newly pressed <AIR WAYS> bristling with scrappy basslines, the shape of his mission is sharp in focus, a revival and reconfiguration of those 90s sounds into something modern and loaded with relevance. Striking parallels with the speed of data in our modern landscape could be made with trance’s newfound acceptance, but for Felix it’s something inherently felt. Logic demands respite, and his palette has changed to suit an equal need for interiority, a slower pace and the psychic realm. Enter Zenaari Mix 017: this latest episode turns down the tempo and strips away the kick of his bellicose basslines for a pure and surrealist patchwork of prophetic sounds. Rapid eye melodies that conjure up a dark side to Alpha Tracks’ moon. Weird and beautiful frequencies from Vienna’s veteran artist.

Zenaari Mix 017 - Alpha Tracks

It’s back to the Norwegian woods with Mikkel Rev for Bassiani Podcast 259. Alongside Oprofessionel he moonlights as Omformer, and co-spearheads the Oslo-based UTE collective, famous for offering mystical forest raves, memorable club nights and their take-home recordings via digital/vinyl outlet UTE.REC (and sub-label Translusid). Trance is the main thrust, but an updated and savvy manifestation of it that’s more than suited to 2025, furnishing its breakneck rhythms with the experimental slant of its IDM and ambient forebears. It’s an elevated approach to a known genre, and perhaps at the bleeding edge of its future potential, keeping sound and woodland birthplace tethered crucial to its mission. As well as a number of EPs out on his homespun label, he’s apt to explore the fringes of his sound and export its singular voice across the map: intelligent trance with a strong emotional charge. This latest instalment keeps that promise with Mikkel on top form, an hour of cathartic beats recorded live at Bassiani: supernatural and stylish fare for sylvan nighttime gatherings.
