Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series we present: Matriark

The Norwegian-born, Copenhagen-based DJ/producer is a member of the infamous BunkerBauer collective, as well as she runs her own label Megatech. 

Growing up to the sound of trance, made her deeply passionate about music from a young age. With this passion, she quickly built an audience since beginning to DJ in 2019. 

Her sets mostly combine different kinds of trance, tek and techno, but she doesn’t limit herself to one specific genre or bpm-range, for Matriark its all about the emotions.

British artist Dax J has gone from pirate radios, to internationally acclaimed headliner, his unyielding passion and attention to high-end sound production has placed him at the forefront of the global scene, and established him as a singular presence within modern dance music. As a DJ, he is known for his unwavering energy and long dark journeys, Dax played a 10hr set at his last performance at Bassiani. His taste and devotion for syncopated rhythms befits an irregular path, carved from a road marking origins in jungle, acid, industrial and straight up classic techno. To mark the release of his new album Utopian Surrealism, the Monnom Black label boss is here with Bassiani Podcast 104: a selection of rough and characteristically uncompromising techno from start to finish.

I am usually not a fan of sharing online the experience of a live set. The emotion, energy and aurea of that moment is something that cannot be grasped with a simple click. 
However, since the moment I touched the decks during this mix, I intuitively knew it was going to be something special… something which I would be happy for those who were not there to partially feel, listen and enjoy. This set includes a selection of my favorite tracks from this year -some older some newer- and all fundamental to create a linear, coherent story.
