Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present a b2b session with CcC x DJ Spit !

At the invitation of LACKREC and Magic Power in 2018, Berlin’s DJ Spit has surfaced as a new talent pushing a hybrid set of sounds. Geared toward drum and bass, techno and warehouse to drill and amen-infused breaks, Spit fills a gap between ghetto house and hi-tech industrial.
With beats making it to Spandau20, Possession and Pollerwiesen podcasts, other sets and appearances include Slam Radio and Lobster Theremin, to mixes for Rinse FM France and HÖR in Berlin. 
Booked for Berghain’s Säule, Endurance in Copenhagen and Kyiv’s ∄ - to raves in Armenia through London - Spit’s other spots online include a back-to-back set with VTSS (Q Club) and a session for Boiler Room at Leipzig’s Distillery.
Sending an unapologetic dive bomb into the contemporary fields of rave, Spit launched Rascal Records in 2021, and ahead of founding the Verteiler label, he’ll continue to blaze a trail to the very extremes of club music.

CcC (Jimi Oduntan) Born in Lagos, Nigeria (16.06.1995) and raised in Duisburg, Germany is a DJ and producer. At the age of twelve, inspired by German and American Hip Hop, he began his first steps in his musical career.
By discovering Dutch and German techno culture, he teamed up with a childhood friend between the ages of 15 and 17 and began to focus on his creative career. Always wandering between two worlds, playing at HipHop & trap Partys but also producing faster electronic music. With the early move to the capital (2015), he again dealt intensively with productions & rap. Several publications and live appearances followed. Through the intensive examination of the electronic music scene in Berlin, he discovered that the values and the lifestyle propagated by rap culture at that time were no longer compatible with his ideas. Then he started the electronic DJ & producer project CcC. Since the beginning of 2020 there have been 2 releases, Digital & Vinyl (Melt The Pot, U4E, “CcC - Pe Awon Olopaa (Don't) & Club Qu Sampler Vol. 1, CcC - Hectics)” on which he is already working alongside international greats such as Adiel, Orlando Voorn, Hector Oaks, Marcel Dettmann & Steffi. Despite the pandemic, he managed to increase his level of awareness through formats such as Arte Concert and Hör Berlin and is currently forming the record label/collective „VERTEILER“ with a group of creatives such as DJ Spit.
Focusing on fast-paced techno experimentations, his soundscape can be described as dark & twisted, yet dreamy and blissful. An ever spiralling, tippy ride down the rabbit hole of electronic music.

Fast Forward Audio Series #66: CcC x DJ Spit

Up next in the series is Kameliia. The Bulgarian artist residing in Norway made waves in the first few weeks of 2021, when her debut EP 'IV' dropped on the Unbalance label, quickly getting picked up by artists such as Freddy K, Ben Sims and Amotik. Her musical knowledge from both the classical and the technical spectrum translate into a minimal but carefully picked palette of sounds that are made for driving hours on the floor. In the next hour, this is the goal she achieves: clinically effective.

ASEC is a Berlin-based artist and label project specializing in raw, hypnotic, movement-oriented electronic music. Though his roots trace back to Manchester's underground scene, he has masterfully redefined the interplay between building sonic tension and atmospheric release. His high-intensity tracks create irresistible momentum on the dance floor—a bold fusion of musical vision, tradition and innovation.

Central to ASEC's distinct identity is his modular live set—a storytelling journey that showcases his expansive musical vision. Through a blend of dark textures and idiosyncratic melodies, ASEC offers a live performance that goes beyond the conventional, as demonstrated in his Boiler Room debut last year.

A music technology innovator, ASEC has been instrumental in advancing the landscape of electronic music production, particularly through his leading contributions to Ableton Live. Far from a mere technical endeavor, this work has allowed him to push electronic music production and live performance into uncharted territories, manifesting a skill set and sound palette unparalleled in the techno landscape.

ASEC's recent releases include a full-length EP on Counterchange Recordings titled 'Trauma Bond,' and a vinyl debut on Ellen Allien’s BPitch. His discography also features exclusive releases on his own label, the most recent of which includes remixes from Kaiser (KEY Vinyl) and Inland (Ostgut Ton). ASEC's tracks have also been featured on household name labels such as Planet X and MORD.

Merlina DJ/Producer, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, has forged an outstanding career in the music scene. Her initial forays into music date back to 2019, when she was involved in the production of events within the realm of underground techno. In 2021, Merlina took a decisive step by starting her career as a DJ and music producer at the prestigious Arjaus academy, located in Buenos Aires. Her commitment to artistic excellence has led her to continue perfecting his art, incorporating different hypnotic sounds and groove rhythms in his productions to date. The year 2022 marked a milestone in his career, as she founded the Ørnament, an event producer and collective of women artists based in Buenos Aires. This project reflects her dedication to promoting the female presence in the local music scene. Merlina has left a significant mark on the Buenos Aires night scene, participating in various booths and appearing in renowned clubs both in the city and in the interior of the country. Her music has also transcended borders, reaching international audiences in Uruguay, Paraguay and Spain. Currently, she is an international resident of PNRM (producer of Paraguayan events) and is part of the exclusive roster of MBA, a Buenos Aires artist agency that recognizes and supports their exceptional talent. Freddy K may call Berlin home, but this Italian techno activist started his life-long campaign during the early 90s in Rome. Freddy talks us through the early days of inspiring Italy with his infamous Virus radio show, his days as a vinyl distributor and label owner, and currently as a prestigious, highly in-demand DJ. How's that for a run-on sentence?!

On top of his infamous Virus Radio Show, he also runs a record label called KEY Vinyl. He was also behind K1971 Distribution and promotion. Catch him this weekend in Paris at Myst 001 and Sunday at Berghain.
