Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: Scallyfaggot

British by origin, Scallyfaggot was born and raised in London, where discovering queer club culture as a young 15-year-old teenager allowed him to forge his identity. Scallyfaggot was created from personal traumas using humor and creativity.

Working with the queer collective Dirty Diana in the British capital, he began to find his sound and image playing in various clubs in the capital and creating podcasts, beginning in the real British roots of bass and garage music. His sound quickly evolved as he experienced more of the raging capital and expanded his musical taste.

He left his motherland for Berlin, joining the infamous Herrensauna crew in its early years. Passing many years of much joy and freedom, the experience would be vital in helping him to form the DJ he is now.

The freedom and energy he continued to create for the partygoers in these collectives is a feeling he wants to incorporate into any future projects he works on. Now he is based in Toulouse and part of the crew Zbeulance. He has been working on multiple projects and gigs, from illegal raves to club spaces, compilations, and radio shows.  

Scallyfaggot's goal is to bring energy and ecstasy to his sets, uplifting the crowd by making them dance. Bringing years of experience from dance floors across Europe, he mixes multiple styles that he has a personal connection to create something touching and yet exciting.

Playing styles range from hard techno to trance, acid, rave, and gabber kicks. Electronically emotional and powerful sounds from 130 to 160 bpm.

Fast Forward Productions was formed in December 2015 as a new take on DIY rave culture. All events are built from the ground up, focusing on our local scene and collaborating with like-minded crews and concepts from abroad.
With a focus on social engagement, and by using activists from the local community to help make the events come to life, Fast Forward actively focuses on creating safer spaces at the venues we use. Sexism, racism, homophobia, and transphobia are not tolerated.
